This is the second little bonzai tree we bought from Amazon. The first, my son bought for his girlfriend. My wife saw it and I could tell that she liked it. So a few weeks later I ordered another. She called me at work and said "hom, a tree just arrilved in a box. Who is it for?" I told her it was for her. This is a tea tree and I told her she can make tea from the leaves but I don't think she will be plucking them off. Really beautiful and exotic looking, and sure to become a favorite plant on our dining room table where we can enjoy it in its new home in Alaska. Arrived in perfect condition after a 14,000 mile journey so you know it is a tough little tree.

I would suggest re-potting this tree as soon as it arrives and is still dormant. The soil appears to be the store-bought Miracle Grow crap they sell for seasonal home-improvement flowers. You're going to need real bonsai soil for this little tree to stand a chance for more than 6 months.

It came without any leaves and did not look tall. At least the shipper was nice.

It's slowly lost leaves and seemed to die all over from day one. After 30 days it started to put out leaves all over. I'm encouraged, but it sure did not survive the trip well. This plant may be too delicate , time will tell.

Very well packaged, arrived thriving and well-watered. Very cool, only reason for four stars is because the tree weeps sticky stuff which got all over the ledge in my apartment and ended up costing me quite a bit of my cleaning deposit when I moved out. If that would've been mentioned I would've put something under it so that didn't occur.

Had it for over two weeks. Pit it in an East window. Doing fine. Looking forward to flowers.

Five inch pot, very sad, now dying little tree w/ rusted wire imbedded in trunk of sad, sad tree. I expect a replacement in the still incorrect description of a larger living tree in the describe pot. Very bad business practices?-..

I was a nervous buyer but was so pleased to see such a beautiful, well loved and packaged plant arrive to my home. I enjoy it so much. I am now ordering on for my daughter as a house warming gift.
