Excellent value, perfect for lightweight camping.
The blurb doesn't say so, but you can fit a 220g gas cartridge (such as GoSystem powersource 2250) into the pans plus the folded stove on top, making a neat easy-to-stow cooking package. The stove is incredible: it folds out to give a firm base, the piezo-electric igniter works very well and the gas controller is smooth and capable of fine adjustments. The butane-isobutane-propane mix gives a much hotter flame than butane, so that water boils very quickly, which must save on gas consumption - one cartridge is enough for many days of use. The mix is said to perform much better than butane at low temperatures so can be used in very challenging conditions. I've seen similar stoves in camping shops for many times this price! You must remember to fold out the pan handles before placing on the stove, or they will be too hot to hold and there's a risk of melting the non-slip sleeving. The non-stick pans are easy to keep clean. This is my standard equipment for lightweight camping.

Great for camping and Turkish coffee at home
This provided very useful during my last holiday and I'm using it daily for Turkish coffee with an Ibrik which is rather difficult to make on a normal electric stove. The gas stove is tiny and light while providing good range of flame strength that allows for both fast cooking / heating and sufficient precision in small flame to make coffee in ibrik.I've been using it with C500 gas cartridges and after using it few times to heat food while camping this summer and about a month of daily Turkish coffee in a medium size Ibrik (2-3 mini cups) I probably went through half of the cartridge and I bought 6 of those in bulk so might be enough for the whole year. The Pan/Pot in the set is light and of decent quality but these I only used while camping so far.The whole set is very portable and great for backpacking.

Inexpensive lightweight cook system ideal for packpackers.
Jump straight in:The cookset is lightweight (see pictures) and feels fairly robust for its weight considering it is VERY light and made from alluminium.I liked the fact the large container has measuring marks both in Imperial and Metric which are useful. The burner performs well, and the built in striker is convenient, i did really like how the pot supports on the burner neatly twist around which helps to keep the burners footprint down when not in use and packed up. The bag it comes in is also of good quality and secures the system snuggly.Where i think there could be improvements are making the pots click and lock together somehow so when you go to lift them out of the bag you don't drop anything.Although it could also be remedied by placing the pot on the ground and sliding the bag down the pots to stop you from dropping them. The burner on mine had a manufacturing defect, one of the pots supports won't engage properly (as pictured) but if left on the smaller rim setting the pot fits nicely still.Other than the two improvements that could be made i think it is a generally good, lightweight backpacking system that is suited to anyone wanting something compact and lightweight. If you're after something to go car camping with or something where you have the ability to carry alot of items, this isn't for you.Just right for those who want an inexpensive cooking system for one.Oh and i love the colour.

A lot of cook kit for not a lot of money!!
I purchased this stove recently and wasn't expecting much due to the low price. I have been in the bushcraft and camping community for many years and have used many stoves and cook kits of this type, with prices varying high to low. This stove is very much the latter! Costing less than £20. You recieve a light weight self contained cook set that offer versatility and ease of use. The cook pot is a 2 piece set, constructed from a food safe anodized aluminium. The main cook pot offers a very generous internal volume allowing a meal for 2 people or a very generous meal for the soloist. The stove comes packaged in a protective plastic container to prevent damage to the unit when stored away. The stove also features a pezio ignition system, which allows the stove to be ignited without the need of carrying an extra ignition source. The pezio ignition system is a cool feature at this price point and absent on similar stoves costing considerably more money. All in all this is a light weight robust cook kit and a lot of stove for for not a lot of money.

Great Budget Kit
Was looking for a small kit to keep in the car to make a brew in case stuck anywhere. Had looked at jetboil etc but they were a bit pricey. I ordered this kit alongside a Coleman c300 cannister. The Coleman cannister fits inside the pot, with the stove and weighs in a 738g.400ml of water takes 5 minutes to boil, and used 9g of gas.Yes a jetboil will do it quicker, and use less gas doing so, but at roughly £4 per can and around 33 drinks per can, I'd need to have to buy 4 gas cans to break even to one used with a jetboil, even then I've only spent £32 compared to the £120+ outlay for the jetboil and one can.ProsCheapLightweightElectric ignitionGreat introduction to see if you like the idea.ConsIt's a little bit flimsy, and when the pot is boiling its unstable, so needs to be on a flat surface. It could do with a gas stand (but they are cheap enough)It's susceptible to wind (but a lot of these are)

Can't fault it
Lightweight (about 340g), boils quickly, lights easily. Can use the second smaller pot as a lid and a mug. Don't recommend trying to fry stuff in it but otherwise perfect. Good stuff.

Great value
This is a super reliable and fantastically priced little hiking cooker. The flame is strong and heats up quickly. There is enough room when packed together to sneak a folding cup and cutlery in. I will be buying another

Calidad y funcionalidad

Piccolo set, grandi mangiate
