Less laxative affect than the citrate
I have been using magnesium citrate for years as water soluble powder because it seems to absorb best that way for me. High doses produce some pretty urgent bowel movements, though, for better or worse! If not in need of a laxative, but wanting the relaxing benefits of higher doses of magnesium, this is a better option so far, it is also water soluble, and doesn't clump like every brand of pure mag citrate I've tried does. It may still have some laxative affect, too, it's just not as strong or noticeable as mag citrate (which you should try 1st if you'd benefit from more laxative, it also comes in water soluble powder and absorbs very well, and is cheaper) I like this product so far because I can take a lot without running to the bathroom. I take ~2 grams every night in some water with ~200mg potassium chloride to aid absorption and a heaping spoonful of glycine. The glycine tastes very sweet and is also super relaxing in high doses - which is awesome cause it tastes great and covers up the mild but not so great tastes of the mag & potassium. This magnesium fit right into my nightly routine and functions better than citrate for higher doses

Great for heart health
It is well known that Magnesium Taurate is the best version of Magnesium for the heart. Better than Glysinate or other versions. I like to put this in my water bottle and drink throughout the day with a 1/4 teaspoon of Potassium. It's hard to find powder versions of Taurate so I hope more people purchase this product. I did a deep dive into the company and their supplements are made in the USA. Dr's Best has a powder but as you can guess, they got bought by a Chinese company. So this is the real deal.

Impossible to say what this product is, but quality seems good
Magnesium taurate, per PubChem, has a molar mass of 273 g/mol. Magnesium is 24 g/mol. Rounded up, MgTaur is 9% magnesium by weight, which means that a 1,000 mg serving, that given on the label, would contain approximately 90 mg magnesium. The label suggests a 1,000 mg serving would have 200 mg elemental magnesium/serving. I'm not aware of any 2- charge anion derived from taurine that could yield a 1:1 salt, which is what would be necessary for the label's numbers to be true (with rounding up, to boot). Therefore, it's impossible to say what this product actually is, but the quality seems fine.

No fillers
So far so good. I did notice though that I got sinus pressure after taking it.

No from me
This magnesium powder mixes into water however it also tastes vile. The eight-month shelf life is a bit of a letdown, especially since there are 250 servings... hard to get through that before it expires. Also, the packaging doesn't mention where the ingredients come from or where it's made, which leaves me guessing about its origins. Did feel calming though
