mk1 version get the mk2 save yourself hassle
dont bother fitting the mk1 version fit the mk2 all brass one. I got this and it snapped on installtion i lubed it up but still broke.

Potterton Gold HE (A) combi boiler repair.Valve arrived today Sunday 13/12/20 (one day before the delivery window, royal mail delivering on a Sunday with Christmas coming up). My heart sank when I unscrewed the old valve as it was the longer (older) version (see picture) on my boiler rather than the new all brass valve which was supplied. However when I compared them, all the bits were in the same place and the screw thread was identical so I fitted it.The result is no more dripping and the hot water is actually hot because the valve now diverts properly unlike the old one which clearly didn't form a correct seal.Free delivery and a very reasonable price, I can recommend this item and supplier.

Working well, much to my relief.
Never having changed a diverter valve before, I was nervous, I need not have been, it is working well and has so fa (2 weeks) given satisfactory service. I believe I can recommend this product.

Worked like a dream - no more leakage
After watching a video on youtube on how to fix you boiler I was able to find this piece that was clearly shown. I ordered it on Saturday morning, it was shipped the same day and it arrived on Monday. Very happy as I was able to get to work and change the faulty piece.Really recommend to everyone!
