Love these! Great substitute for plastic straws, which I never use anymore. They are much sturdier than regular paper straws. They feel and taste different than plastic, but that was very easy to get used to.The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that they don't last as long as plastic, but that's to be expected. If you leave them sit in liquid, especially soda, too long, they eventually get soggy. I lessen this effect by (1) pulling the straw up between sips so the end is out of the liquid, and (2) every so often, removing the straw, flipping it over and inserting the opposite end back into the liquid. Both of these steps are quite easy if your cup has a lid. Definitely worth it to avoid putting more unrecyclable plastic into oceans and landfillsBecause you can buy such a large quantity for such a reasonable price, I consider this product a great bargain. I will definitely buy them again.

So I wanted to move away from plastic straws, but I can’t get the whole family behind composting. I wanted straws that were durable, but still biodegradable and paper straws seemed to be the best option. I tried a few brands, but they’ve completely disintegrate after an hour or two. I put one of these straws in some really fizzy kombucha and it was in there for three days. The straw got really soft, but never got mushy at the bottom and were still easily usable. I was really impressed, and will buy again!!!

After seeing pic after pic of whales dying and their stomachs full of plastic straws and bags, I vowed to get rid of plastic straws as best I can. Every restaurant I go into, went into, I asked them to switch to biodegradable paper straws. They are very sturdy. In fact i just set it on a towel after dinner, let it dry out and use it again. Just me here so there is no switching up with other people. As strong as a plastic straw, and no damage to the environment far as I can tell. Please ask restaurants to switch. Do so at home. Use less, recycle, reuse. We can save the world. Even if these are from China. Hint hint. Some little town in Nebraska needs to make these and take the US market back.

These excellent and durable straws are all that a person could want in a natural paper straw except of course if that person wanted a JUMBO size straw. This company ‘World Brand” thinks its a good idea to name their STANDARD sized straw JUMBOS! Yes it’s my fault for not examining every detail of this listing till I noticed the 1 small place this fact is mentioned.So... NO these ‘jumbo’ straws can not be used for Boba tea. They can not be used for smoothies. I guess I need the collasaul size, but it’s not available. Ho hum.

They will not last you all day in liquid, but they are the best paper straws I have found. Compostable, biodegradeable. Stop trashing the world with plastic waste!

I could not find paper straws for purchase in my small town. I like straws but I no longer like plastic for the sake of the environment and the wildlife.So as for this product, I love it. The straws are not as indestructible as plastic, which is no doubt a positive, but they are perfectly fine for use. They are just right. I think they are perfect, and I enjoy using them.I already reordered a time or two. I am satisfied with the quality and with my experience with this vendor. If you want paper straws, you won’t go wrong with this one.

These are absolutely terrible. Less than 3 minutes and the straw is already soggy and coming apart. I thought this was the brand that Whole Foods uses because those straws are absolutely wonderful and hold up all day long, but it’s not possible because these fall apart before you have even taken a drink. Sad but I guess I will continue my search for the perfect paper straw. Don’t waste your money. Now I have 200 straws that I guess I should be thankful when I throw them away they are good for the earth because they are going in to the trash.

This is my first box of paper straws. And they're great. I dont know why some people complain about paper straws, as if flimsy plastic feels amazing to use. These are not flimsy and have no aftertaste. I tried less quality ones from a restaurant and these are superior. One lasts a while and through a few drinks even. Naturally I dont use them to drink from boiling hot water and they're not for shakes. But glad I switched over and would buy again👍🏻
