Heated Round Brush, Fast Heating Curling Iron for Blowout Look, 3 Temp Settin...

I have below the shoulder length, pretty strong hair, two left hands and I'm super lazy about doing my hair. Unfortunately my hair got a bit destroyed with a bad color job and I'm now battling dryness and frizz that shampoos and styling products can't get rid of. So I spent an afternoon researching the options on Amazon...normal straightening or curling irons have not worked for me, they were either too hard to use or I got burned or you needed a glove...etc etc. I did have a flat heat brush, but you can't use that for any waves or curls. This item is great! It's really easy to use even for lazy two left handed people like me. The look in the photo took 15 minutes, and that's with first time use trying to figure it all out. I used the 410 setting. You can't get burned, because it's got protective tips everywhere, so you can even use your hand to place the hair on the brush if you are clumsy. Watch out though - the hair will get hot! The brush is a good size, not too big, so you can travel with it (it's dual voltage! yey!) Basically, you get the best of both worlds - you can use this to just "dry" your hair and basically straighten it and get the frizz out, or you can use it on drier hair to curl the edges. It's perfect if you are a busy/lazy person who doesn't have an hour to do their hair every morning and wants a more sleek professional look. Downside - if you have longer hair, you will only be able to wave the edges. You would need hair curlers or something else to get other kinds of curls or volume. DO NOT try to curl the whole hair up to the root, it will get tangled in the brush. But that's not the fault of the brush, it's just not meant to be used that way. People with shorter hair might be able to get more creative hairstyles with this or go to the root. Also, you don't need to worry so much about this brush burning things if you lie it down in a rush, because the protective tips keep the heating surface away from other surfaces. One more note - as other reviews have mentioned, it is easy to press the settings buttons by accident as you use it. The easy solution is to make sure you're gripping the brush handle in the right way when you begin curling. So just twist the brush a little so your thumb isn't on the settings before you begin. It's an easy fix, but future versions of this product should place the settings somewhere else vis a vis the cord. The box/sleeve for the brush is really cheap looking btw, I will be throwing those out, but the brush itself feels and looks like a high quality item, so don't let the packaging put you off. I just hope it keeps working for a long time! Glad to have found this.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Easy to use with my bob hair style. Like the temperature control too. Well made an good for my hair.

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT AND THE TINES ARE GOOD. IT IS A LITTLE SMALLER THAN I WAS HOPING FOR BUT IT PERFORMS WELL.

I love this Heated Round Brush! I have medium length hair which is thick but less so on the sides. The brush does heat up quickly (the red zone works best for my hair type). It is perfect to freshen and give lift to my hair style when the style looks tired. After washing and drying my hair the brush can give a sleek straight style or more of a wind-blown style with loose curl. No more burns from a hot curling iron! Read the instructions and use hints (also sent by email after you receive the product). Pay attention to the part that tells you to grasp the tip and keep your hand in a lower position on the handle and you will eliminate problems (ouches) during the learning curve. It's not a curling iron but if you like soft definition this is a wonderful product. No more flat bangs before the next hair cut for me!

This brush curling iron is just what I wanted except that it does not work on shorter hair. The bristles are slippery and hard, so there is nothing to hold the hair unless it is longer. My hair is chin length and layered, so the brush slides through my hair without gripping it. I bought a silicon-bristle curling iron, and it grabs onto my shorter hair but doesn't tangle in my longer layers. I wish this one had worked for me because I like the carrying case and the multiple heating levels. The one I have only has low/high, but it does work well on low for me. If my hair were all one length chin-length, I think the AmoVee would work...it definitely works on shoulder length and longer hair as shown in the videos. So, if you have longer hair, I highly recommend it!! If not, try a silicone brush type.

It has good temperature control. The hair doesn't slip off when curling. I'd like it to go to an even lower temp (like 175°) so you could use it on some wigs. Works great. I'm happy as I get consistent results. I decided to buy another one to have a backup. It's completely different It's a good inch and a half shorter than this one that I purchased in December. I'm sending it back. I have no idea why they would change the length of the curling section. It just means you can call less hair at one time. Thus it takes longer to do your hair... Which is already too long.

This brush is light, easy to use, nice sized barrel so gives me great curl, haven't had any issues with being hot to the touch. The cord is a nice length for easy use. I like it so much I intend to get another for traveling!

If I could give a 0 I would. This product came already opened and used and obviously returned by the prior customer because it didn't even turn on.
