Oatein High Protein Low Sugar and Low Carb Bar, Cookies & Cream, Box of 12x60g

I would have given this 5 stars without hesitation because it's the snack bar I've always wanted. Just 1.7g of sugar in each bar and it tastes just as good as any normal snack bar. That's brilliant. My one beef is the expiry date which is just 2 months from the date of purchase. I understand that the turnover can't be that great given that it's a new product developed by 2 people just getting off the ground but the least I would expect is that the price is reduced and that the shelf life should be made obvious when placing the order.

Having seen this product on Dragons Den decided to give each of the five flavours a try but was disappointed to find on delivery in mid February that the Use by date was March 2019 on each flavour.Cannot fault the taste and have now discovered by trial and error that they can be frozen with no adverse effects

These bars taste pretty good, peanuts on top give a nice bit of crunch, but I found there were a few bars in the box with not many peanuts so that was slightly disappointing. Overall a good bar and better than a lot of the competition.

Nice flavour and texture, I just found that compared to other protein bars, they were not very satiating, at all.

I bought the cookies and cream flavour, I do not recommend you buy it. I cannot speak for the other flavours but this one is extremely bitter and leaves an awful aftertaste. I only eat them so I can get my money's worth as they're pricey however they taste so bad I have to just force them down. The only good thing about them is the actual ingredients, obviously it has protein and is good in that regard, and low sugar, however do not buy as the flavour is nothing close to cookies and creme, it just tastes like chemicals - disgusting!

Was nervous about trying this bar as there were no reviews,also the use of oat in the name made me wonder if it was a low carb bar,but i checked ingredients and it has no oats in it.the taste is absolutey amazing,it has whole peanuts combined with chocolate on the top with a nougaty soft base.its on par with carb killa and phd diet whey bars in taste,consistancy and macros but for me tastes superior.So dont be put off by the oatein name(not sure this was a good marketing idea myself)as it is a low carb protein bar.i totally recommend it.

I'm always on the look out for low sugar protein bars. Came across these on Amazon and I hadn't heard of this brand before. I eat a protein bar during a round of golf and after my cardio and strength training. These bars just seem to hit the spot. Great value, ideal size and great taste. I will be trying other flavours and other Oatein products fairly soon.

Unfortunately there were no nuts in or on top of 4 of the12 bars I have eaten . This is disappointing as I chose the peanut crunch variety because I enjoy snacks with texture, the picture on the packet shows a topping of peanuts could this be a faulty box ???.
