Starts to work as soon as I turn my vehicle on. As you know, you cannot control pandora and other apps. This lost one star because in addition to not being able to control the apps, your screen will not display the title or name of song and will display a random song from your iTunes library. This lost another star because even tho it is compatible with iTunes, it isn’t with iTunes Radio. We are in 2018 and this product needs to be updated.

This cable did not work on my 2013 Mercedes E63 (W212). The iPod 3rd Gen would charge, but the radio said "No Device Connected". Also, when I unplugged it to send it back, the housing for the iPod end of the connector tried to come apart. I have to snap it back together before sending it back.
