We are returning this item as it does not live up to expectation or the reviews.It doesn’t cool the room at all, if you use the cooler it doesn’t make any difference and the fan was ineffectual in an average size bedroom.It maybe ok if you were in a very small room and sitting right next to it.When cooling the noise was unbearable.We would not recommend this product.Also when filling the tank with water, although there were small windows it was not easy to see how much water was in the tank.Also display for the fan and speed etc were on the top so although you had a remote control unless you got up to see the display you could not see what the speed, time etc was.

Decent air con with ice in there better than a normal fan.

UPDATE: The new fan arrived, I managed to sort out the "missing" pump so that it dangled down into the water reservoir, filled it with water and all works as it should - I give the fan itself FIVE STARS but still leave 3 stars showing as the instruction booklet still doesn't help you.Not being "with it" with the way things are produced & shipped, I didn't realise that the water pump for this item had to be detached from the base to hang down into the water reservoir and, because there was NO REFERENCE about this in the Booklet/Instructions, I thought the machine was DEFECTIVE & returned it for a full refund. I re-ordered another one hoping that a pump would be included - It wasn't. I sat pondering the issue, then I tried removing what I took to be a water pump from the base only to discover that it hung down - then the "penny dropped". With the "pump" now hanging down, I re-assembled the fan, after filling the water reservoir, and pressed the "cooler" button and IT WORKED FINE. I do apologise for returning the first one thinking it was defective when it wasn't.The THREE STARS is for the lack of CLARITY in the Instruction Booklet/Manual - if it had been made clearer on HOW to move the pump from the base & to dangle it under the main body - then this item would have gotten FIVE STARS.

It does the job really well and the features help you to choose the right settings for your use. Not heavy at all to move around and ice bottles makes the cool more cooler. Really good for every day use.

This product is as cheap feeling and poorly put together as the price would have you believe.Instructions don't make any sense.The tube that transfers the water from the bottom container to the fan is transported bent over, so it has a kink in it.When I turn the cooling on it rattles so much you can't hear the TV over it, further inspection shows the pump isn't doing anything so the cooling feature just doesn't work at all.It's a lot smaller than I thought but that's on me for not checking the size!It's on wheels so it's easy to wheel around but the power cable is so short I don't know where you'd wheel it to!

I brought this unit today and had 10 per cent off ,it has great cooling power and what a great price at £62 I brought another unit which was £30 dearer not much difference between the 2 but I feel this one is more powerful I should have returned the dearer one and brought another one of these and saved myself £30 so highly recommend this product
