Gives off good heat
When I saw this heat gun, I just had to have it. When I got it, I charged my battery and fired it up. A big plus is no more extension cords. I love that it has different heat settings so I can use it on different things. It works great and gives off good heat. I highly recommend this heat gun.

Try a different brand. Don't waste your time on this one
Do Not buy. I've had mine for about 8 months and while it continues to work. The longer I've owned it the shorter and shorter the battery life will be on my batteries. I can use an 8ah battery That is pretty new to me and purchased not very long ago from home Depot. The gun will go through the battery within 5 minutes or less. How big of a battery am I really supposed to use? That's not efficient at all. And it seems that the longer I've owned it, The faster it will kill batteries. I started out with a 3ah and moved to 5ah ones.. now it's just a waste of time to use anything less than 8ah batteries

Great for people who have many Dewalt batteries.
Fast shipping. As described. Nice adjustableity, fan could be stronger. It should work well when electricity is not available. I'll find out in a couple of months when I start my window tinting project.

It works for general needs but it's hungry for battery power.

For the money not bad. Does shrink tubing everyday of the week. Compared to milwaukee's overpriced unit this has features on it that Milwaukee doesn't include in there's. Digital output for temperature control is an absolute plus that Milwaukee does not offer. r. bility is yet to be determined .

Super fast heat
This heat gun is easy to use and heats fast. Great handle fits in my hand and is lite. I recommend this one

Heat output
Does not blow out enough air flow to melt anything. Have to put the nozzle about 1/2 inch away from the plastic to melt it and it takes a long time. Even took a long time to melting thin plastic bubble wrap. Better to purchase a unit that plugs into a wall vs batter powered.

Well worth buying, but I don't see it lasting if used in rough use environments ( work sites) where it may be knocked around, home use perfect.
