MSA02-0470013000 Mre Heaters

These are chinese (mainland) frhs. Was hesitant to buy the usa frhs because many are pulled from used rations. These are fresh, never been used. Randomly picked 1 to try, fired up well and did its job. No problems and the price was great.

I have always had difficulty with the military version of the MRE because the heaters did not seem to work very well. Not the case with these, these things are amazing.

Somewhat slow starting then suddenly after a minute the added water was boiling. Took a good 15 minutes to warm up the packet. i used a paper clip to keep the top folded over. It would really warm your hands on a cold day. In really cold weather keep the food packet in your shirt for a few hours to pre warm it.

I thought I was getting recently made heaters. Unfortunately, these were all over 25 years old and none that I tried would heat up. These things have a shelf life and the chemicals become inert over time.But the seller was easy to work with and gracious about it.

Real military spec, and they aren’t old. They get very hot.

As you can see in the pictures the heaters are all disintegrated and the chemicals are just loose. They did work though and heated up an mre just fine, but had to rinse off after removing from the heater, which if you don't have a lot of water available might be a problem.

This item is a great add-on to any Preppers out there.

Arrived quickly! Tried one out and it was hotter than heck in less than 2 minutes! Perfect! Much better than ones I got from another seller that were useless. Order from these guys if you want heaters that work.
