Reasonable price for a good quality product

Price at review: £14.49So this is a natural, quality product at a good price but it is very impractical to use.On opening, the top of the jar is virtually liquid with the consistency of a muddy puddle, but below that it gets progressively more solid, with the bottom 1/3rd of the jar having the consistency of nearly set concrete.The bottom is so solid that trying to stir it for 15 minutes really didn't make much impact and mostly bent the spoon I was using.This makes it very hard to use. It isn't something you can just spread on toast really and unless you're going to use the entire jar for a single recipe and have a powerful mixer to use then you're really going to struggle to get exactly what you want.I considered giving it a lower rating but it is exactly what it says it is. I wonder though whether often oils are added to these type of products to avoid this type of problem and so being oil free is actually a disadvantage here.In my photo, the lump on the spoon is absolutely solid and is being lifted out of a very liquid top of the contents. This is to illustrate the separated consistency it has.It says the ingredients are from the USA and it is packed in the EU.

Taste Is as expected. Large quantity for the price.

With the warnings on the listing photos, I fully expected this almond butter to arrive separated, and it did. What I didn't expect was how dense the solids would be, and how long it would take to stir back together. I took maybe 5 minutes with a tablespoon breaking up the solids and mixing everything back together; an immersion blender might help, but I'd worry about it being too dense and overheating the motor. If it's your first time using this jar, put a few minutes aside!Once stirred, it's great. Lots of flavour, and nice smooth texture that spreads well. I also really appreciate it not having a load of salt and preservatives in, just replying on the natural oils to protect the almond butter. Shelf life is a bit shorter than you might expect due to this. I received my jar in late October, and the use-by is in July - not the end of the world. If you're buying 1kg of almond butter, it's because you know you'll use it!In terms of price, I feel Q Gorilla is well-priced, especially when compared to small jars, plus there's less packaging waste!

This is a lot of almond butter for the money but that's where my appreciation ends. When I opened it, most of the solid content was stuck to one side of the container and the remaining liquid occupied the rest of the jar. It is very hard to mix due to the almost solid and very gloopy state of the butter and I still haven't managed to get it homogenised after almost 10 mins of mixing. Once it is I shall have to eat it quick before it separates again. What a shame :)

This huge plastic jar containing almond butter is impressive. I have never seen such a large jar before. On arrival I was a little concerned as the liquid inside was slopping around rather a lot. We put the jar into the fridge and opened it the next morning.It became obvious very quickly that you need to be careful handling the jar, it would be easy to spill some. The liquid was obviously the natural oils from the almonds that had become separated during transit and since production.We fond a long knife and careful stirred it until the solid almond butter had been mixed with the oil. And then experimented with almond oil on toast. Very tasty. It does say expiry for the butter is July 2025 and also to eat within 3 months once opened. I am not sure we will be able to eat such a large quantity in that time but we will do our best. Storing it in the fridge seems sensible.How nice to find a product that does not contain palm oil or sugar. Thumbs up from us.

This tub of Almond butter is huge. It's Gluten Free with no artificial ingredients or palm oil or added salt. It's just 100% pure California Almonds ground to a smooth and delicious paste.The best before date is around 9 months away, but it's best to consume within three months of opening.It does have a tendency to separate a bit and get all thick and gunky at the bottom, but once it's had a good stir, its absolutely delicious and so much nicer than peanut butter in my opinion.

I've tried a lot of brands, but this one is the best so far. It has an amazing quality for the price—only £14.99 at the time of review!The only downside is that it’s quite runny, so I’ve been using it mainly for smoothies rather than spreading it on toast.

Nous consommons régulièrement du beurre de cacahuète en tartine (avec modération ! 😁).J'ai trouvé ce beurre d'amandes plus original, j'ai eu envie d'essayer.Livré dans un gros pot en plastique, avec couvercle (en plastique) qui se visse.La consistance est très fluide, presque liquide, beaucoup plus qu'avec le beurre de cacahuète. Ce dernier, au réfrigérateur, se durcit, et peut devenir presque dur. Celui-ci, après deux jours de frigo, reste assez fluide, à peine moins qu'à température normale.Le goût est fin, à la fois pas loin du beurre de cacahuète, et bien distinct, plus subtil. Pas désagréable, en tout cas.

Esta mantequilla de almendras de la marca Q Gorilla es francamente deliciosa: su único ingrediente son las almendras y no lleva azucares añadidos. Naturalmente, al estar compuesta sólo de almendra, la proporción de grasas es alta (52%), pero son grasas saludables, y por supuesto se debe consumir con moderación.Esperaba encontrarme una capa superior de aceite y el fondo más espeso, pero la verdad es que la he notado bastante homogénea (eso me pasa mucho por ejemplo con la mantequilla de cacahuete). Comparada con la mantequilla de cacahuete, la de almendra me gusta más, tiene un sabor más fino, mayor proporción de grasas monoinsaturadas, más magnesio, hierro, calcio, vitamina E y fibra.El sabor es estupendo, almendras en estado puro. De momento la he usado en el yogur, y está buenísima. Tenemos que experimentar con ella en la cocina.Si sacaran una versión con trocitos de almendra (crunchy) y en tarro de 500gr me parecería ideal. Como no la tomo todos los días por el tema calórico, me va a costar acabarme el bote de 1kg.

Das Schraub"glas" (aus Plastik) ist unter dem Deckel hygienisch versiegelt, allerdings geht dieses Siegel recht schwer zu entfernen, weil es 1. keinen wirklich greifbaren Rand hat, 2. auf der Außenseite irgendwie fettig und dadurch rutschig ist, und 3. einreißt und nicht am Stück zu entfernen ist - also erst einmal etwas ägerlich und potentiell eine unsaubere Angelegenheit.Wenn man dann aber erst einmal an die Mandelbutter/das Mandelmus herangekommen ist, ist dieses von überzeugender Qualität, sehr einheitlich fein und cremig, und optisch sehr gut. Das erhaltene Glas war ganz ohne abgesetzte Ölschicht, also vermute ich, dass es relativ frisch hergestellt wurde, und noch keine Zeit zum Absetzen hatte.Die Creme besteht aus 100% Mandeln, und das merkt man auch, sehr aromatisch und genau wie es sein soll.Pur ist die Mandelbutter dadurch etwas pappig im Mund, aber als Zutat für verschiedene Rezepte wirklich lecker.MHD ist mit September 2025 angegeben, nach dem Öffnen muss der Inhalt allerdings innerhalb von drei Monaten verbraucht werden - falls man nicht einen so großen Verbrauch hat, sollte man also vielleicht lieber eine kleinere Packungsgröße wählen.
