Lightweight, durable and functional. This is something you are not going to use everyday but you want to have it in your kitchen the day you do need it. I especially like the red color.

I love the color, heat resistance and functionality. I am so glad that there is a replacement for the old bristle style brushes that never fully come clean and also lose their bristles, sometimes in food, over time.

I would have preferred that the silicon brush was a little stiffer to be honest. These are so soft and flexible. Probably good for applying a glaze to say pastry where a delicate touch is needed, but perhaps a bit too soft and flexible for things like steaks and the like.
