RimBrim - Protect Wheels, Calipers, and Discs from Tire Shine Overspray

This is a thin semi-rigid clear shield that keeps wheels from getting tire shine products on wheels. You pick exact size for wheels, hold it against rims with one hand, spray product with other hand.This can get a little awkward as at some point you switch hands. It has a knurled knob-like area for holding it in the center. Being inert clear plastic, it’s durable to withstand whatever cleaning product you want to use on tires and keep off wheels.Most people would use this to catch errant tire shine but you could use it if you use a cleaner not real friendly to your rims. The clear plastic tends to hold tire shine products but a good all purpose cleaner with soft brush works well. Rinse and hang it up to dry for next time. Be careful it’s not crushed while being stored.

Besides getting lasik eye surgery this is the best money I have ever spent . Cuts my detailing time in half ,and I no longer have to wipe greasy over spray off my wheels. I am able to absolutely soak my tires with dressing . There is a lip that allows you to wedge it in place so you do not have to hold it up . Works great for my 2018 ram 1500 . I just ordered one for my wife’s Denali . This product is a must have. I can’t believe it’s not sold in stores .

Ordered 18” and 19” for the C6. Both arrived crunched, courtesy of USPS. Worked out the bends in the plastic but they won’t stay on the wheel. They’re performance tires (MPSS) with a rim protector sidewall. So I guess I should have known. Probably still useful. Love the idea of this product. Been using foam applicators for years. Some really good sprays aren’t available in gel form. Spraying onto the foam is lame. I’m gonna make these work! Ha

I was skeptical at first but I am glad I purchased. Fits perfect and stays in place for my truck 18-inch wheels. I purchased another for my 16-inch wheel for car however, due to my hubcaps the RimBrim will not stay on by itself so I have to hold it in place while I apply tire shine product but no big deal to me. Pricey for a round piece of plastic?..no doubt but it works great and I am happy with it. Saves me time without having to go back to clean of the rims from the over spray/ dripping of the tire shine product.

It does not fit and stay without holding but it does provide protection of the wheel while applying tire shine.

I’ve had a few items such as this that claim to protect your tires when you’re putting shine on the tires and this BY FAR is the best one. It’s super easy to use and clean and there is no overspray on your rims and I would recommend this item to any car enthusiast who likes shiny tires but hates having to clean their rims afterwards.

This wheel cover is fabulous. No more over spray on my fenders or wheels. It took only two minutes or so to cover my entire tire. And it comes in various sizes to precisely fit my car and another cover for my wife's car.I thought it might need a handle to hold it in one hand while I sprayed the side wall of the tire with the other, but it was not necessary. It has a molded in protrusion in the middle which allows you to simply wrap your fingers around it.

A bit flimsy and awkward to hold with one hand and spray with the other, but hey it works! Just use warm water and dawn to clean up overspray on it before putting away. It could be a bit thicker of plastic.
