I'm 5'4 and somewhere about 135-140 pounds. I carry more weight in my middle than my legs or hips. I bought the medium based on measurements and found the ruched waist too snug for comfort. I'm returning my medium to try a large instead. The hips weren't overly roomy, so I think I'll be good with the large. Will try to update! I bought these for an international flight hoping they'll be super comfy. EDIT : 5'4, 140lbs, size 6/8. I ordered a medium in the style without bows at the ankles. The waist was just too fitted for me for comfort, so I returned them for a large. I switched to the bows at the ankle style. What I didn't notice in photos, is that the ones with bows are only half ruched at the waist and the ones without have a fully ruched waist. Had I recognized that, I would have stuck with the original style, because going up one size was more like going up two with that variation. (see photos-- yellow is large, green is medium). The legs were too baggy now and I had ample room in the waist Ultimately, I'm returning both. The pants are soft and nice quality, but given what I just explained, neither fits. I bet a large in the bow-less ones would, but my trip is in 7 days and I don't want to order a third pair at this point. If you carry weight in your middle I'd say order your true size in the ones with bows, OR size up one in the ones without. They're cute pants, just not for my shape.

LOVE THESE PANTS!! They fit me perfectly and I love the fabric. They come to my ankles, which is exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this brand as it is not the first pair of pants I have purchased from them. I keep coming back for more.!

I really wanted to like these. The XL fit properly through the waist AND hips (a huge win since I usually have to buy curvy fit). Unfortunately the fabric isn’t right. I don’t have much cellulite, but it highlighted every bit of it. Even with the relaxed fit, the material is just too thin / clingy in the bum. Sizing up would just make them swim on me. I have to return. Shame because they are comfortable, true to the size chart, and the dusty rose color is lovely.

I’m 5.2’ 128 pounds I bought a small size they fit great for me. I ordered the dark navy blue beautiful color the material is nice, it has a bit of a stretch to it, it’s soft. If you are someone who is a little tall, not sure if a bigger size will go up in length, mine goto my ankles. All in all this is a great product I would like to order in different colors.

I never write reviews but I like these pants so much I feel I must tell the world! I was looking to update my work wardrobe for my in-office days, yet still feel comfortable. These have quickly become my favorite wardrobe staple and I’ll be getting a few more colors soon. I did size up, as I wanted a more baggy feel and I have a very muscular lower body. I originally purchased a L but I knew I’d be self conscious and/or I’d never wear them, especially if they shrunk. One size up was perfect! The fabric is a soft wind-breaker style fabric but not breathable at all so I wouldn’t wear these in the summer if I was going to be outside for long periods of time. The fabric is comfy and forgiving, although they do show wrinkles and wetness, they are not see through. The pockets lay perfectly and do not pucker. The belt completes the look and is also functional. They have not shrink, although I line dried.

I bought these pants in the mauve shade for work. They are very flattering and comfortable. I purchased a Large and I'm usually a 10/12 in pants, I'm about 5'6" and these hit at my ankle bone. These are a slightly shiny material, and lightweight. My only complaint is that they aren't particularly friendly to "hail damage". You can see quite a few lumps and bumps on the backs of my thighs, and you will need to be particular on undergarments as they are slightly see through and show panty lines. Nude and seamless are your friends here! That being said, it isn't bad enough to return them. I think I can live with it. They're flattering and comfy enough that I may order another pair in a darker color and see if they hide more :)
