Exactly what you need
As long as this is the right bulb for the bug zapper you have, it works great! Don't buy the aftermarket ones that are only half the wattage, you're just reducing your coverage area. Replacement wasn't bad, you just have to remove to top and the plastic basket, 4 screws, push the tabs down to remove the basket and unclip the clips. My bulb broke in my hand trying to pull it out. I had to use a flat head screwdriver to pry between the base of the bulb and the fixture going around until it came loose.

Bulbs are excellent! Top quality from a company that still produces their main products in the USA!
So, I've tried those black-light style bulbs from different sellers online and sadly, most are just terribly low quality. They're also very dim, not really designed or attracting insects. Flowtron bulbs are a much brighter bulb and honestly do an incredible job at attracking six legged menaces. I noticed the difference in just one night, as the volume of insects attracted by the Flowtron bulb was much greater. I was so happy with the Flowtron bulbs, I ordered their larger bug zapper designed for two acres. Flow products are manufactured in the USA, so I would highly recommend purchased their zappers over those made overseas. Their support is excellent and you know the coolest thing about Flowtron, is you can order replacement parts, ie, transformers, bulbs, etc...

Great purchase
Previous review was for a different product! Ah, old age what a beautiful thing! These bulbs are a perfect fit for my Flowtron bug zapper. This is the second time I have ordered them. I was surprised to receive 2 bulbs when I was only expecting one. It pays to read the description better!

Replacements, when I need them.
I just bought the 1 acre bug killer, these are replacements, so I don’t have to have to hunt for them when I will need them in the future. Saves time.

I don't know of a better bug zapper
Wish they lasted longer! But, I don't know of a better bug zapper, so replacement bulbs are welcomed. I hope the new replacement bulb will last till fall. It is a very good idea to place these on a timer and turn them off during the daylight hours so you can save your bulb life for when its most effective. If you leave them on all the time expect 6 months or less of life. If I leave one on 24/7 inside a dark shop I might get 6 months.

Works as describe
I have this outdoor zapper and after a couple of years the bulb went out. This seems to work perfectly and I believe its an OEM and not a replacement.

Our bug zappers are a treasured tool against mosquitoes, black flies, deer flies and horse flys. The bulb replacements are integral to maintaining this tool. We have had the bug zapper for 12 years and have reduced the insects in the yard significantly everyday, year after year!!! Great bulbs!
