this monitor has exceeded all my expectations !!! No dead pixels, no backlight bleed and exceptional contrast. Indeed, coming from a 1080p 27" 180hz monitor it's a bigger change than I thought it would be so, I'm over the moon. It has good black levels and great motion clarity. the only thing better in my eyes is an oled that's more than twice the price to look kind of better and maybe burn in sorry no thank you lol. I haven't seen any smearing or ghosting, I'm not really a hdr guy so I didn't care about that. the sdr mode is great for me and looks awesome, so many options to tune to your liking. Then there is the price and its crazy cheap for what you get when it's on sale but even at full price it is a good deal. It has a RGB backlight too it isn't super bright but looks pretty awesome when on!!! if you are looking for a good priced 1440p gaming monitor stop looking!!!! you found it!!!!!!! its only been a day but if anything happens ill update right away. I upgraded from my 1080p Sceptre VA panel to this, and it’s amazing. The contrast is decent for an IPS panel, the detail is amazing with vivid colors (as you can see in my Ghost of Tsushima video) and there was no ghosting. Super smooth motion on games with amazing all around usage. I can’t believe there’s no other reviews. I was a little hesitant to get it since nobody has reviewed it, but it was definitely worth the purchase! I use the Cinema DisplayWidget option and everything looks phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and if you are thinking about upgrading, do it!

Failed immediately after I couldn’t return to Amazon. Failure seemed electrical, as if components inside are damaged and the display shows a distorted unusable mess even with no external input sources. Manufacture’s RMA process is too much of a burden for such a large item.

This monitor is the best monitor I have ever purchased in my life with my own money. The size and the flexibility of it is amazing. It is super easy to assemble and the colors are accurate and perfect for gaming at 1440p at 180hz. In addition the built in settings for the display is very abundant and helpful for finding the perfect fit for you. Would recommend this monitor for gamers not trying to break the bank with OLED, 4k, etc.

Definitely a step-up from my old 32 inch MSI Curved 1080p monitor. Looks gorgeous, can’t see any dead pixels or IPS glow. Very nice.

Did not give me the option to contact seller or ask a question so this is the only venue for support given. I love ASUS, products are fantastic including this monitor. However... I absolutely waited for the white monitor to be available for purchase and... made the purchase. Arrived yesterday, is great but is black and not what I ordered... also did not come with an HDMI cable. Again the monitor is great but not what I ordered and I'm very disappointed after waiting so long for availability. Would much rather have been told it's simply not available instead of being shipped something else as a plug. If you only have black remove the other product pages!

This is a great 27" 1440P monitor. It also has a nice, smallish footprint which helps the monitor not take up your whole desk.

It's good for using as expected. But there is no protective film when I received the monitor. Not sure if it is normal or an opened box one. Because I had check online, every brand new ASUS ROG monitor has a protective film on the screen.
