Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, Formula for Uneven and Blemish-Prone Skin

This product is worth every penny. I bought it to help with acne marks, dark spots, and uneven skin tone, and the results have been amazing. I have very sensitive skin, so I am always careful when trying new skincare products, but this one has caused absolutely no irritation. No redness, no burning, and no discomfort at all. My skin looks brighter, smoother, and more even-toned. I’ve noticed improvements that I hadn’t seen with many other products. This has become a must-have in my skincare routine, and I will definitely keep repurchasing it. Highly recommended!

I am very happy with the way this helped calm down redness and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I have sensitive skin, and while my breakouts are fairly mild they can also be stubborn and I've had a hard time getting them under control. I decided to try The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% after constantly seeing people talk about it on TikTok, especially people with rosacea and sensitive skin like mine. I was honestly hesitant at first because the texture is definitely thicker than a lot of products I normally use, and thicker creams/products tend to irritate my skin or make me nervous about flare ups. To be safe, I started off using a very small amount, and I’m really glad I gave it a chance. I’ve only been using it consistently for about a week so far, but I can already see and feel a difference in my skin. Nothing unrealistic or overnight, but enough that my skin feels calmer, healthier, and more comfortable overall. The redness in my face looks less angry, and my skin texture feels smoother too. Even though the formula is thicker, it doesn’t feel heavy once applied. A little goes a long way, and using too much definitely isn’t necessary. I think easing into it slowly helped my skin adjust really well without irritation. As someone with rosacea, I’m extremely cautious about trying trending skincare products because my skin reacts to things so easily. A lot of viral products end up being too harsh for me, but this one genuinely deserves the hype it’s getting. It feels effective without destroying my skin barrier, which is hard to find. If you have sensitive skin or rosacea and have been nervous about trying azelaic acid, I’d definitely recommend introducing this slowly and giving it a shot. So far, it’s been a really positive addition to my routine, and I’m excited to keep using it long term.

I’ve added two new products to my hyper pigmentation routine recently, this being one, and have had amazing results in a short time! My only, and largest, qualm is with the size. It is cheap, but so small, and half if not more was air.. would love for the product to have a little more product in it!

I have rosecea bad around my chin. This ordinary cream has really healed and helped my rosecea! I was using hydrocortisone cream to keep it tame but it has a steroid in it and it was hurting my face. Since I found this ordinary cream it has been healing! Ordinary feels good on the face and it doesn't sweat off. It's not greasy at all. The price is decent only around $10. Thank you!!!

This stuff has seriously helped to clear up my skin! I struggled with scarring and redness from acne and now I have gone from using a high coverage makeup to no makeup at all after using this product. I no longer feel like I have to hide my skin! It does not work overnight, consistency is key! It’s is not greasy feeling at all. I have pretty sensitive skin and it hasn’t bothered me at all. I do wish it came in a bigger size, though, as I am using it in the AM and PM and I’m about to purchase my 4th one.

Does what azelaic acid should. Creamy formula that smooths on easily. You don't need a lot - maybe 1/3 of a dime. Good value for the money for non-Rx dosing.

I’ve been using The Ordinary Azelaic Acid 10% all over my face and it’s a mixed bag. The texture is the first thing you notice — it’s a thick, paste-like suspension that takes some effort to blend in. It doesn’t layer particularly well under other products and can pill if you’re not careful with application. Results have been underwhelming for the effort. Skin tone looked marginally more even over time but nothing dramatic. For blemish control it’s slow-acting at best. That said, it’s well-tolerated — no irritation or purging — and the price point is hard to argue with. If you’re patient and don’t mind the texture, it’s a low-risk addition to a routine. Just don’t expect fast or visible results.
