This is awesome paper for drawings. The tone is a perfect white, the texture works wonderfully for graphite or colored pencil.

I bought this pad for urban sketching to which I ad watercolor paint wet on dry. Although it isn't 300 lb weight, it was advertised as 100% cotton. The paper is very smooth. I haven't painted on it yet so I don't know how it will perform. I only gave it 3 stars because it was supposed to be deckle edged, which would add a nice effect to sketches. It's not. The edges are completely smooth.

I am very happy with the quality of this paper. It's thick and is perfect for watercolors.

Easily one of the highest quality drawing pads I've ever used. The pad seems to weigh a ton because the paper is so thick and heavy. I will certainly purchase this item again.
