The media could not be loaded.  Excellent motor kit for the price , I needed to replace the hub motor on my electric scooter an this did a great job, it’s very well built , only complaint is there is almost no low end torque so I modded the shunt on the controller to compensate ( also replaced the main power leads wit 8ga wire ) I’m running it off 16 lifepo4 cells at 26ah I ran it for 6 miles at wide open throttle ( pulls 40amps peak full speed stabilizes at 25-30 amp ) and only drained 7.5ah top speed was 29mph . I checked the caps in the controller and they are rated for 63v for anyone interested in over volting , I’m going probably push it to 60v but I’ll need a few more cells for that. Does not have regen braking so was a little disappointed by that but I believe it’s a feature of the controller just doesn’t include the wires , I’m going to get the diagram for it an see for sure if I do I’ll update thisUpdate : the motor is still going strong , the controller not so much, I ran it at 48v ( 54v not under load ) every work day 3 miles each direction so it held up pretty good compared to other controllers I’ve had but it started failing to move the scooter and the shut off randomly while riding and this one was scary it started running in reverse after stopping almost causing a few accidents , I’ve replaced the controller with a heavier duty 48v-72v 2000w controller and it takes off so much faster and hits higher top end about 32mph , I plan on eventually going to 60 or 72 volts and will update if I do

I installed this on an eahora x 7 ebike. The bike was working pretty good, but was lacking enough power to pull up steep hills. I bought this kit to put on the front wheel . The motor is powerful and amazing. With both motors I can go up any hill with just electric power only. I've gone 25 miles on a charge on steep dirt trails. I'm sure you could go much further on pavement or more level terrain. I would recommend using the torque arms that go on the axles. I'm using the 48 v 13a UPP battery that seems pretty good so far.Update 6-19-21The motor is still running great. One thing I have found is the controls are not waterproof. Maybe water resistant. I got caught in a down pour and the motor stopped working. After drying out it is working fine. I'm going try to seal everything up better. The motor itself seems to be water proof since I have crossed creeks with no problem. This kit is ideal if you already have an ebike with the rear motor and you don't have enough power to climb the steep hills. This bike is a beast.

I know a lot about eBay. I’ve been working on them since I. Bought my firstMany years ago when they first came out so I understand how to use Tools and check for connections and the controller they sent that would not work on it so I was going to return it the box. It came in was damaged so I’d thrown it out so I have no way to really get it back to them so when I asked them to replace the controller since I knew that’s what the problem was, every time I reached out they said they’d have an answer in two days I was six days ago not stoked on spending hundreds of dollars and having a defective parts and

I just used the motor and the controller to make my e-bike 2wd .. it doesn’t have crazy torque so it won’t spin tires off the line but it’s better at higher speeds. I had an extra 48v 20ah battery and I got this kit as an open box deal so 200$ was a good deal for my project. My now extra heavy Wallke H6 picks up speed pretty fast, fun to have the rear motor in pedal assist and add power to the front with the twist throttle. The direct drive motor seems to be of good build quality and hopefully lasts a long time I’ll update my review after the season is finished

The media could not be loaded.  I selected this particular kit to make my VIPDRIVE Climber 1.2 into an all-wheel-drive project. (We live in rolling foothills that are very steep.) I actually got it all assembled and running and then found the instruction manual. I switched out my throttle with the one in the kit so that my new front drive is controlled by throttle only and the factory 500/700W peak hub runs only by PAS. I used the SW900 display as I find it more versatile than many others.The only hold up on completion is the need for spacers to move my disc brake rotor into a usable position, they should be here tomorrow. I will need to make or acquire Ys for the braking sensors to work both controller systems. I don't think it's a good idea to take it out on its maiden voyage without that front hydraulic brake, especially with a peak of over 2000 watts.

Was easy to install must have some knowledge of mechanical instructions leave a lot to be desired but still it's pretty much plug and play if you have skillLike the simple design of controller if you want to leave the PAS off it functions as a throttle control system love that part

First of all the power on the motor is awesome. I weigh three hundred pounds and the bike is easily fifty with the motor and battery. The motor carried me at twenty plus MPH for over twelve miles. Pretty easy to install though the instructions could be a little less confusing.Bad, the torque needed to push the fat tire bike is held in check by a small washer like stop. I created an additional stop from a piece of metal after the front tire literally spun out of the fork on a climb. Boo to the engineer on that one! When installed the bike is cumbersome and steering takes some getting used to with all the weight on the front of the bike. Odd sensation having the drive pulling you instead of pushing you.For some reason after about sixty miles the controller "brain" is not functioning. I think it is an easy twenty dollar fix but I think it should last longer than sixty miles. I am researching a way to add a sprocket to the wheel but I think I am probably going to have to suck up buying a back wheel with the motor.I do not recommend this product.

Don’t forget torque arms if you’re fitting a regular bike frame. Paired this up with a high speed 1000 watt in the front. It’s goes probably too fast for the bike trail but it’s pretty fun. Not cheaper though if you can find a pre-made bike that has what you want. Considering getting the 3000 watt kit for another bike just not sure if I want to get into the 73v batteries. But a pretty good buy.

Kit is everything I desired and required. Very easy to install on fatbike. High performance and quality . I highly recommend this product.

Extremely disappointed in this product, arrived late, arrived with no manual and to take the cake it didn’t work! Pretty lights but tried to test bump it before install and found that there was no power to the wheel. Because they delayed sending it, this item showed up late and snow had already arrived. When Spring came I started the build but never got passed the test! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! To add to this miss justice Amazon won’t honour there A to Z guarantee! I guess I’m just able to throw away money! 😡
