Great pump! Drains water off my pool tarp quickly and efficiently. Would give it a 5 star but the plastic hose attachment point doesn't screw on tightly and has come off. Changed garden hose but made no difference. Still works great, just don't pull on hose to move unit around.

To my surprise this little pump did an awesome job. As I am preparing for the upcoming swimming pool season I always attempt to get the inside of the pool very clean as possible. Every couple of years I drain my pool completely and replace with clean fresh water. When doing so, in the past I've syphoned the water out of the pool. My pool holds 10,000 gallons of water. So I thought I'd give this pump a try and see how it worked. Now it's February so the water is still very cold at the time I did this. I attached a 100 ft garden hose to the pump. From the pool I stretched the garden hose away from my neighbors driveway so it wouldn't wash away the gravel or cause any ruts in the neighbors driveway. I pulled the cover back off my pool and lowered the pump to the bottom of the pool. Plug it upped and let it do its thing. I wasn't in a real big rush to drain the pool, so I would check it occasionally to see if the water level was dropping. No it isn't the fastest pump in the world but to cut to the chase, it drained every bit of the 10,000 gallons leaving about a 1/4 of an inch if not less in the bottom of the pool. Just enough water for me to mop up the bottom of the pool. This has been the easiest clean up of my pool prior to pool season in the last 13 years. Just because of this little pump. I would recommend this to anyone especially if it is used to drain a swimming pool or a hot tub.

A very good quality pump with strong flow rate compared with other pool cover pumps I have had in the past. With a 5/8" hose attached, I was able to put a sprinkler on the hose to spread out the water and make ponding less of a problem. One feature that I like best is that it pumps down to almost no water left. I used it to pump out my small patio pond of "winter water" and it pumped down to 3/8" of water left. I would recommend it to others as it Is a great value for the price amd has a lot of power and flow rate.v I would have liked it to have an attachment with wider base to keep it from tipping as the weight of the motor makes it a bit top heavy and prone to tip over. I may make a bigger base on my own to solve tge tipping over issue.

Working as expected. I use this pump to drain my hot tub and it’s very easy to use. Very quiet. Strong flow easily connected to the garden hose. Nice cord length.

It moves water from point A to point B, but not at 1000ga/hr rate and really struggles to pump against vertical inclines.
