I started taking glycine about 6 months ago and noticed that regular use has improved my sleep quality. It doesn’t work immediately like melatonin, you can’t just take it one night and necessarily immediately sleep better for that night. It seems like it builds up in your system over a few days or a couple weeks and contributes to overall anxiety reduction and sleeping through the night. Not just falling asleep but also staying asleep. I started by taking 1,000 mg per night and after a couple weeks it almost was working too well, I noticed myself being a little tired and numb feeling. Over time I have fine tuned my dosage and found that one of these pills (about 700 mg) per night is just right for me. For reference I am about 110 lb female age 45.

Taking the supplement was easy - the capsules were simple to swallow, with no strange smells or unpleasant aftertaste. Plus, the affordability is a big plus, costing only about 15 cents per day.However, after finishing the entire bottle in 100 days, I didn't notice any tangible benefits or improvements.

You get a pretty decent supply of these for the money. The pills are easy to swallow, no strange smells or aftertaste. I have not noticed a difference in my sleep quality yet, but thinking I may need a higher does or take it longer than I have been for the full effect to kick in. It seems pretty comparable to similar pills I’ve taken, but at a better price point. I could do without the fillers, too.

I take 5 grams daily of glycine, so I love the large quantity of 300 capsules. Glycine provides me with miraculous support for my aging knee joints as well as my hands. If you have joint issues, I highly recommend this supplement.

Bottle arrived in excellent condition, with the tamper proof seal still intact (see photo). All the capsules seem to be in good shape, with no visibly damaged capsules.This supplement is claimed to be made in a GMP approved facility in the USA, which I do not doubt considering the brand that is selling it. The bottle also list the manufacturers address, which is definitely reassuring.I cannot say too much about the effects of this supplement, but I recommend you do your own research. I potentially will be incorporating this supplement into my daily routine!
