They are more red than tan (like oxblood versus cognac in leather dye speak). The toe strap on the R shift my foot almost off the far side, they're slightly long on the sole, and the sole is much thicker than I wanted (which I could not discern from their pics). They're not uncomfortable but neither are they flattering or fashionable. In fact, in my opinion, they make me look like I have "cankles" when that's never been a problem before! These seem to make my ankles disappear. I think I'm going to return them, sadly, because I had really hoped I'd like them!

First off- I wear a size 11.5 US. I ordered them in 45, which I think is a size bigger? Any way, like a lot of good leather shoes they were a bit tight at first, but broke in within a day. I’ve been wearing them here and there for about a week now.Pros:- I like the way they look. I have big fat man feet but I think these shoes actually look pretty good on me.- It seems hard to find a men’s sandal that ha both a big toe loop and an ankle strap. To me, who just started wearing sandals about a year ago, things that help your foot naturally grip the shoe as well as keep it on are very important. The loop and the ankle strap help the shoe feel secure enough for walking.- I actually thought this sandal was going to be heavier and clunkier than it was. It’s not dainty exactly but it looks like an artisan made it rather than a caveman. Very light.- the material is excellent. Feels good on the sole of the the foot and doesn’t rub. Idk about others but I wear sandals to avoid sweating. So many sandals are made from material that seems to hold in heat and perspiration. Maybe it’s because these are still new to me but they are not a hot or sweaty sandal at all, which is appreciated.- for whatever reason my wife doesn’t like the style of these “Jesus sandals” and doesn’t steal them like she does every other pair I own. Lol.Cons:- even about a week in they kind of creak with each step. It’s not irritating to the skin and if you were out in public you probably wouldn’t notice it.- this is barely a con, but they are not slip-on ready for me. Again, I’m a big guy so maybe just me but I have to fiddle with the straps a bit to get them on.All that said, this is an awesome shoe. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a high quality sandal that is neither super feminine nor a tennis shoe with the toe cut off.

I've only recently begun to wear sandals, and was looking for some that didn't look like a modified athletic shoe. When I was searching Amazon to see what was available I found that every single pair I liked came from the same seller. SO, I bit the bullet and bought a pair. And I'm glad I did.These sandals are lightweight, comfortable and seem to be fairly durable for urban wear. I have had several people ask where they could order them. My only complaint is that the sandal seems to have been assembled THEN dyed. This leaves light spots on the straps when wearing the sandals, because of the shifting leather.Still, this is a small problem that easily remedied so I still give these sandals 5 stars

I am impressed by the quality of the sandal. My only disappointment was that the sizing chart was not quite accurate in my case. I can barely get the sandals on, but I don't have time to exchange them before our theater production. This is very disappointing. They are a bit expensive for a prop. The sandal would have been nice enough to wear on the street. If in doubt, choose a size up!

This particular pair was ordered because it has the latchet that goes behind the ankle and is easy to pull on and pull off without having to undo the strap at the buckle. This pair and the other two pairs I have without the latchet are very comfortable to wear though without the latchet I have to be somewhat conscious about gripping the sandals with my toes so they don't slip off while going up steps My one favorite thing about these sandals is that they are known as the "YESHUA" style.

I was looking for a new pair of sandals and always liked this style.They we're stiff and hard to put on at first but then I remembered to soak them, and left them overnight in the rain. The next day I wore them all day and now they're perfect.I love them.

The shoes tie piece didn’t fit my foot correctly.... bought on prime ( so should have been free to return) seller took $13.95 off of the purchase price. He only refunded $39.95 for a returned item that was in new condition and returned within 7days! Buyer beware, these are not wearer friendly shoes, and if you have to return them, seller keeps your money!

The sandals were beautifully made, unfortunately I translated from European size to US size incorrectly so they were too small to use, but they refunded my payment quickly - good merchant

guter Schuh, gute Passform. Rustikal verarbeitet, das Leder wurde NACH dem Zusammenbau der Sandale zuletzt gespritzt, d.h. wo die Riemen durch Schlaufen gehen sind sie heller. Sieht man beim Tragen, wenn man nicht die Auslieferungseinstellung der Riemen benutzt sondern sie kürzer oder weiter stellt. Ungefüttertes Leder, UNBEDINGT Eintragen mit einplanen. Danach aber super bequem.

Lassé de chercher des sandales en magasin, chose de plus en plus rare. Et finalement alors qu'acheter des chaussures sur internet n'est pas intuitif, achat parfait !Les sandales sont de très belle finition, cuir épais et robuste. Evidemment, le cuir crée des frottements auxquels il faut s'habituer, le logement du gros orteil et la plaque qui frotte le côté du pied sont bien présents... c'est une question d'habitude.

Pour nous les hommes ! C'est autre chose que ces machins pour pieds sans goût et sans style que l'on trouve dans tout magasin de chaussure en été. Celle-ci sont en cuir, solides, jolies et originales. Pourquoi on ne les trouve pas en France ? C'est la question à se poser. Merci à Amazon de nous permettre de trouver ce genre de produit.

Schöne Sandalen die auch gut passen, weich und angenehm zu tragen. Leider ist die Farbe tatsächlich aufgesprüht und hat sich bei mir an nur einem Tag durch etwas Sand an der Sohne merklich abgerieben. Somit ist auch fraglich ob es sich tatsälich um Leder handelt!
