Brilliant body scrub

The Filter by Molly-Mae Body Polish arrives in a very sturdy cardboard tube and is contained in a plastic tub with a "sealing" plastic lid that's under the main lid of the product. Sadly the tub I received had a bit of a leak so there was a small amount of oil that had managed to escape and had permeated the cardboard packaging a little. It wasn't horribly messy but it did mean that the rest of the items in the amazon package smelled of the Filter Body Polish.I didn't really mind the smell as it's gorgeous but if more oil had leaked out of the tub, it could have affected the rest of the items in the package so perhaps a foil seal on the product might be a good idea for the future.Aside from the small leaking, the rest of the Filter Body Polish was fine so I grabbed the tub and leaped into the bath to try it out. I would definitely recommend applying the Body Polish once you're in a bathtub as it's an oil based product and things can get quite slippery.I used a decent palm sized amount of the Body Polish which was definitely enough to do my legs and arms. The scent is really lovely, it's quite fruity and you get an undertone of vanilla and chocolate, the scent lingers on the skin for a while after using the product and I'm very OK with that. If there was a perfume of the scent, I would definitely wear it.After rinsing and drying off, my skin was ridiculously soft and felt intensely moisturised. I'd normally use a moisturiser after exfoliating but I didn't need to with this Body Polish.Filter by Molly-Mae Body Polish is slightly more in the higher priced range for an all over exfoliator but as it's so effective and you don't need much, the tub should last you a long time so justifies the price.I would recommend packing the tub in a leakproof bag if you're planning on taking it anywhere in your luggage though, just to be on the safe side.

A mix of sugar and apricot kernel flour for a fine scrub experience. It feels really good and with a gentle massage, leaves my skin feeling soft and looking glowy - especially my arms. I really like it and you don't need very much x

Wow! I couldn’t be more impressed with this body scrub. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it left my skin feeling smoother than it’s ever felt before!The scrub is almost sand like in texture and on the verge of being painful to use but that’s exactly what I need in a full body scrub!It’s also very oil based (so don’t try to shave after using it or your razor will be ruined) and this helps keep your skin even smoother after using it.It’s super easy to use but a tad messy so I used it while standing in the bath to catch any of the falling bits.Overall I couldn’t be happier with this scrub and will be buying it again! I’d most definitely recommend it.

I feel like I've been pampered in a spa when I use this exfoliator - its devine.It's very gentle on the skin but does the job, leaving you smooth, polished and your skin is so soft.It smells gorgeous too. The tub is HUGE so it will last us ages.It's beautifully presented and would make an ideal gift. I'll be ordering more to give as Christmas presents.Both my daughter and I love it, especially when followed with the Filter moisturiser.It's a highly recommended from us. 5*'s

As with other filter by Molly-Mae products, the packaging and presentation of this body scrub is exquisite.The product itself smells lovely. It is quite grainy and gloopy, so probably best to apply this already in the shower. You can feel it exfoliating your skin.Once I’d turned on the shower and washed it off it left my skin feeling lovely and soft. Water was literally beading off my skin. After drying there was no stickiness, just amazingly soft skin.It is a great product I think if you just want to pamper yourself a bit, or of course you can build it into your pre-tanning routine.Five stars.

The scrub itself is really nice. There's a sufficient amount that will last you a long time. It smells good, not too overpowering, but I usually prefer no fragrance. The jar had leaked oil out onto the cardboard, and when you open the container, you can see it's definitely not leakproof, which is a shame because oil stains can be very hard to remove. Wish there was a little scoop or something included as I don't want to contaminate it with my hands! Overall good quality and makes the skin feel smooth after use, but the design is flawed so keep it upright and in its own sealed bag or it will leak.
