LISTEN UP...THESE ARE WORTH IT!!!
UPDATE 2/26/25 STILL 5 STARS These hearing aides are so worth it. I finally changed my wax filters and ear pieces FOR THE FIRST TIME. The receivers were CLEAN AS A WHISTLE. I finally after 3 months had a muffled sound and realized I had not changed out my earpiece or filter. Such a good product that the sound quality stood up to my wax level, and daily wear. CHANGE YOUR FILTERS AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH. I got lazy to be honest...but the sound quality of these aides is excellent. I did finally submit my hearing test that I did at an ENT physician hearing test from Jan 2024, I submitted this via scan and email and my hearing aides were fully dialed in at that time. That adjustment was done in December. I have worn hearing aides for 42 of my 47 years on this earth. I have bought many...many pairs of hearing aides, amplifiers, headphones, and bluetooth devices. I have bought hearing aides over the internet, gone to a hearing aide seller, and also been to an ear nose and throat doctor. THESE ARE THE EASIEST, MOST CONVENIENT, BEST VALUE I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. For reference my hearing level is severe, so I only hear at about 35-40% in both ears. My last hearing aide purchase was in 2020, through a hearing aide vendor. I spend $4000 for a pair of rechargeable fairly well respected aides...that wore out their charge in only 3.5 years. hence why I bought these. Jabra is a well known bluetooth and headset company. I was skeptical about hearing aides since the FDA deregulated and you can get them easier. I was skeptical about the price and the quality. I was skeptical if they would work with my hearing level and if I'd need to go get a physical hearing test. ALL OF MY SKEPTICISM IS GONE. The hearing aides come fully charged. The case is not fully charged but does not take long at all to charge. The case holds DAYS of charge. I wear hearing aides for 16-18 hours a day. The fact that my case is charging my hearing aides without them plugged into the wall IS A HUGE CONVENIENCE. The case also has a mag seal so the aides are well protected. THE CASE IS NOT WATERPROOF (which would be nice but it's not a dealbreaker.) The recommendation is to download the app and take the hearing test on the app. Not everyone has noise cancelling headphones and this will determine how the hearing aides are programmed. If you have a physical printout of a hearing test you can scan this and email it to the audiologist as well and they will adjust the hearing aide remotely. I highly recommend an in person hearing test via an ear nose and throat physician or audiologist if you have never had one. If you have not had a recent hearing test but have had one in the last 2 years you may be able to suffice using the hearing test on the app. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW AMAZING IT IS TO HAVE AN AUDIOLOGIST UPDATE YOUR HEARING AIDES. Most hole in the wall mall plaza hearing aide shops have a "hearing specialist" that is not an audiologist...they follow prompts and use computer programs and most people have to go back and forth for their hearing aides to be adjusted. I had planned to send my last hearing test but didn't have the time so I took the app hearing test. I got a new program dowloaded to my aides within 12 hours to an improvement in sound quality. Then I worked and lived life for a week to get an idea of what further sound adjustments I'd need. I sent another request via the Jabra App to the audiologist. The Jabra program and audiologist support is so fast and so responsive I was blown away. My second adjustment came within 72 hours. The videos and orientation that come with the hearing aides is clear and concise. I have a 3 year warranty and audiologist support which is SO IMPORTANT. These are such a good value and a good product. I will update in 3 months.

Really special hearing aids at a good price
My wife has been telling me (for years) that I need hearing aids. I have had my hearing tested twice and both times I came away with the same recommendations to get hearing aids, but they were too expensive for me. Then I found these hearing aids. They are amazing! The sound clarity is great. I hear so much better than I have in years, from conversations at home or in restaurants, concerts, or listening to birds outside. They fit great, last a full day without any worries about recharging, and I love that they connect to my phone so that I can change how it does in various settings. The Jabra customer service is also pretty amazing. I would absolutely recommend these hearing aids.

Ongoing saga Read to the end!
1st review: Easy enough to set up but somewhat confusing; Jabra has multiple apps in the Play Store it would appear. As luck would have it I donloaded the wrong one (apparently a prior version) which didn't help. App appears somewhat lame, for example, you can define one (only one) profile for each profile category... but how do you set its name? How do you delete it if you decide you don't want it. Another thing they don't mention; the aids arrive, it is taking nearly two weeks to get the "custom setup" review with them! You are on you own until that happens. They do seem to have most of the features of a high end aid like Phonak but... it took me nearly a week to finally get the phone answering ability working (partically due to wrong app?) and the sound volume when I answer the phone is far too low. Price is certainly right about 1/3 the cost of comparable Phonak but, if it doesn't work as well is this an area you want to be saving money? 2nd review: interactive online meeting was great. They did an adjustment over internet & sent me a new set of longer wires which eliminated r ear pain. Loving them! Score goes to 5 stars! 3rd review: trouble! Connection to aids from phone/app keeps dropping on one or other aid. I check in morning when putting aids on that both are recognized. Later will answer a call & only hear it in one ear! Appears only way to correct is to turn aid off... which requires the charger, which I don't carry around. Desperately need a switch on aid to turn off or reset. Stars dropped to 2. Serious flaw! 4th review: DON"T buy if you are looking for Auracast compatibility (I was). They claim to be Auracast compatible. It's what they don't tell you that will bite you. Auracast broadcasts on 3 frequencies, public at 16 & 24kHz and Personal at 48kHz. These aids only support low-quality, public, but you will find that most (all?) home broadcast units (those you hook to a TV, computer, pad, etc.) broadcast at 48 because they want to deliver the highest quality. After 3 months of looking I have yet to find an Auracast transmitter that will work with these aids!

Good OTC hearing aids but bad app.
Good performance for OTC hearing aids. Good live help for initial setup. The Jabra app can be difficult especially if one is out of the country. An offline control mode would be greatly appreciated.
