Everbuild Opti-Mix Super Concentrate Cement Colourant – One Shot Cement – Easy to Use – Black – 1 Litre

I bought this product as i didn't want grey concrete in the garden. It's simple to use as it has a built-in measure so can be consistent mix after mix. Wear gloves when you use it and keep it away from other products (watch the splash if you're using a mixer) as it doesn't just colour concrete. Great product.

It works great mixed with concrete, mixed with concrete sealer and diluted with water for curing your concrete. Tried all 3 mentioned methods and it worked really well. It gives really black black.

If want black cement to stay black once drys need at least half a bottle to a 25kg bag of ordinary Portland cement. Suggest a shot per 10kg. No where near enough dry just a different shade of grey. Overall very good product once get ratio sorted.

This works far better than the cement colour powder versions, one measure in a bucket full of pointing mortar gave a true black.

Arrived as specified well packaged and all intact. The bottle was much bigger than I actually expected and for the price it was a bargain. The bottle measures perfectly for you just by carefully squeezing the bottle so for someone like me who is heavy handed and always thinks you should add just a little bit more this was perfect if not a little bit scary! I add 5 very precise capfuls to a 9 litre tub of silver copse wood stain and stirred like a made woman it took a bit of doing but the dye did mix in very evenly, I then set about painting every paving slab with a brush, once the first coat had been applied the second coat was done with a roller on a pole like you would use for ceilings and as you can see from the pictures it has definitely transformed my path. I am going to use a sealer later today and basically sit back and see how long it lasts. My friend gave me the idea and she did hers 18months ago and it’s still holding strong so fingers crossed this won’t be a yearly occurrence but that said I still have loads of the dye left and for £26 for the wood stain and a days graft I’d do it again next year. Much easier to use than the powder options and mixed very evenly so fingers crossed it lasts. Cheaper than a whole new path/patio area.

Container looks to be designed to provide one measure at a time but it doesn't work. I used 3 bottles in the end and cut them all open so that I could get the liquid out. Plenty needed to darken the concrete. Don't expect black.

Mixed better with mortar than powder. Would recommend

Esta muy bien colorear cualquier cemento.

Il prodotto ha restituito un ottimo colore finale molto uniforme, molto meglio di ossido di ferro nero. Resistenza cemento apparentemente inalterata.
