Falls apart
I love the look of this, we used the Eva line for our master bath remodel. I've ordered this twice, and the "arm" comes out of the mount and we haven't been able to get it to stay in it. Frustrating that we can't use it.

Beautiful Chrome TP Holder can also hold hand towels
I am happy with this product. You can feel the weight in your hand when you mount it, it feels strong (not cheap). The chrome is really nice. It has a deep shine. I like the way the arm stays in place, but with a little pressure can be adjusted for smaller or larger rolls of paper. The hook part isn't round. It has a ridge that holds the paper roll very well.I also like the Delta Lahara pivoting paper holder in my Master Bath, but I think that pivot could be confusing in a guest bath. If a guest needs to replace the roll, it should be simple. The pivot in my master WC is so discreet that it isn't clear how to remove the roll. With its hook shape, this Moen Eva TP Holder is beautiful, functional, and easy to refill. The Moen EVA Towel ring is about 8" in diameter so it stuck out beyond the edge of a short section of wall, but this Toilet Paper Holder is only 7" & fits perfectly. I actually like the way the flat bar holds my towel better than a ring. I ordered several, 2 for Toilet Paper Holders and 2 for towel holders in one of our bathrooms (I had room for the towel ring on the other wall, but wanted them to match). I don't have the special Moen installation tool with the levelling bubble, but it isn't needed because these only require one hole. I also didn't use the screw with plastic insert provided because I mounted these directly in wood studs. As Moen claims, mounting these is super fast, but you need to be careful to get the little lines on the plastic circle exactly horizontal before you press the spikes into the wall, otherwise the hook will end up crooked. The instructions say not to overtighten the screw. It doesn't need to be very tight because the metal spikes keep the hook from rotating. However, I was mounting it into a wooden stud and my electric screwdriver can be a bit overzealous.. I ended up putting a #8 washer between the wall and the back of the black plastic mounting piece because I did not use their white plastic sleeve. That sleeve sits on top of the wall and there is a depression on the back of the black plastic piece to accommodate it. The washer filled that space and ensured that I could tighten the screw without cracking the plastic.

Great holder -- mounting materials inadequate
We have had this toilet paper holder mounted in drywall for 10 years. Moen includes one screw and plastic molly for mounting. After a few years it came loose and made a large round depression in the drywall. We triedusing putty to repair it -- it worked for a while but didn't look that great. When that, too, became loose we finally, decided to replace it. I did not find any other toilet paper holder that looked as good and was as functional and versatile as the Moen Eva. The swivel bar allows for a large size roll and I like that there is no spring or pivot mechanism -- you just slip the new roll on. We repaired the wall, repainted it and reattached the original Moen Eva toilet paper holder with three mollies this time. It's on there well now and we're very pleased.

Works well for hand towels.
Bought two for use for my hand towels. The towels lay flat using this in place of the round towel holders.

I am happy with it!!
I really like this TP holder. I read reviews about how some people did not like the mounting system but I had no problems with it at all, I drilled a hole and followed directions and even though I never heard a "click" for the locking tap, it seems really solid to me. I also considered that the end that was open would be facing the toilet and did not want the roll coming off when pulled on. I took special effort with placement because of that complaint, what I did was place it higher than I have seen done normally with TP holders, so now you have to pull down. The extra height ended up being perfect when sitting on the toilet. I would recommend this TP holder to others.Sidenote: My son painted my half bathroom for me, and I think the color looks great with oil rubbed bronze fixtures. It is Benjamin Moore Berber White in Eggshell if anyone else likes it.

Doesn’t lay flat on the wall.
The holder itself is a very nice design. It’s unique and looks nice in the guest bath. Although the new installation system was fast and easy, the part that connects to the wall pulls away about an eighth of an inch and does not lay flat/flush against the wall. So far it’s fine but I worry that over time and with use the whole thing may not be held securely enough and may fall off. Time will tell.

Style is good
Style was ok, mounting was ok too.

Very pretty and functional
Well made, very pretty. Has a very good drywall anchor, but I would find a stud. You still have to use the anchor, since there is no easy way to remove it and use a wood screw. You need 1/4 drill for plaster, but bigger for a stud.

Good quality Moen
Everything else in my bathrooms is Eva by Moen except the toilet paper holder. Now everything matches and I'm pleased with the product. Heavy quality feel. Installation instructions were easy to follow.

This is a good quality made product
This is a good quality made product, very sturdy. I thought the toilet paper would lay against the wall while on this holder but it maintains to sit freely from the wall. I really like how this adds to my newly renovated bathroom. I would recommend this product.
