When I started to make some mixed drinks and mocktails, I noticed that I did not have a citrus juicer that most bartenders have and use to make fresh juices from citrus fruits like lemon and lime. I could not find any in the shops, so I did some research and found this on Amazon at a good price. After reading some good reviews, I decided to buy this one and after testing, I liked it very much. Although the illustration makes it look like plastic it is actually coloured metal. The big yellow bowl at the bottom is for squeezing lemons whilst the smaller green bowl is for lime with the small yellow bowl with the handle used to squeeze that part. All you have to do is cut your fruit in half, put it in the squeezer face down and press hard with the handle and the juice flows out by the holes at the bottom. It is very simple and easy to use, although it can be quite heavy unless you have strong hands. This will have no problems giving you instant juices, but be careful as the pulp can go through and clog the holes at the bottom if you squeeze way too hard as I found out. It is easy to clean and best to be washed by hand although you may need to wash it more then once to get rid of the strong lemony smell. It is also fixed meaning it can't be taken apart and it is quite big in size so you may need to have a large drawer for storage if you want to buy and keep this great hand held squeezer. The packaging as some good drink recipe suggestions together with the stylish graphics. Have no problems using this and I would highly recommend this for drink makers both novice and professional. Best simple juicer I have ever bought.

It feels durable and looks good. I don’t feel it juices thoroughly though. The centre gets pressed but then the sides of the fruit just get kind of squished a bit. I did a test as I wanted to make sure. With my old fashioned juicer, one half of the lemon produced a good amount. With this new trendy feel-like-a-barman juicer, the other half didn’t yield as much. Think I’ll keep it just for limes. Disappointed as it really looks lovely.

Who knew squeezing lemons and limes would become so so easy. Great solution to a common problem. Gone are the days of sticky hands and picking out pips. Every house needs one!

This squeezer works very well and is easy to clean.This is a weighty metal product that should last a very long time.
