USA 12GB 180 Days 4G LTE SIM Card for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon - Unlocked Cellular Security Cameras/Router/Hotspot WiFi/Trail Camera

A year ago I cancelled my home DSL plan and started just using wifi at coffee shops. After a while I realized that by goosing my mobile data allotment I could use the hotspot feature of a cell plan to have internet for my PC. But it wasn't enough monthly data so I've been buying these data cards to supplement. Thus for the past year I've burned through over a dozen data-only SIM cards in an older smartphone basically just for my PC.Using numerous data-only SIM cards has taught me that getting them to work is a crapshoot. Any little configuration problem and it doesn't work, no internet. It's not cellular dead spots either as all 3 major carriers have great signal strength at my home. But some cards don't like my 7 year old smartphone and sometimes cards from the same brand work in that phone while other cards do not. Some brands I've never got to work in that phone after toying with the settings for hours. I'm using that phone essentially as a router.My point in this review is that while I've used at least 6 brands with varying results, the one brand that has been reliably easy and consistent to get up and running quickly is Kiwisim. It's not the cheapest on a per GB basis but it's been free of any headaches while all the other brands have made me pull my hair out at some point.Especially for an older smartphone or a device that you unsure would be supported for any reason, if the least hassles is what you desire I think Kiwisim should top your list based on my experience thus far.

Very disappointed with this sim card! Looked like a brilliant deal to use in my wifi router but only lasted just over one week despite being valid for 180 days. Closer look into the sim showed that the order commenced in December 2024 and was only valid until March 21st!Amazon have been brilliant in sending me a replacement for free but I will be checking the validity date closer this time!

Great price for data

I activated the plan and installed the SIM card on my router. I start initializing auto scan and detect a1.net under apn in the SIM card. The instructions said to manual add apn: linksnet but it doesn’t work at all. So basically, I leave apn as a1.net default. It starts picking up AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. It pick T-mobile as it has the best coverage in my area. Either way, I’m happy with it.

I tried everything I and another technician knew to get this to work. I do not like not having a customer service person to work with. I’m sure it works fine but it seems it’s not comparable with my tablet. Had to go another route.

Original review: I have two different product support request requests in to see if I can get the card to work on a 4g camera but after a month of attempts and manufacturing resetting it will not consistently work, but will only connect to the network once and then not after that. It may simply be that the card is not automatically picking the best network as this has been an issue for me with other cards, but I need customer support to be able to work and so far that has not occurred. I will update this review when or if customer Support gets back to me.UPDATE: Both product support and customer support have now gotten back with me and I appreciate their response. I have gotten the card to work sporadically. In fairness to Kiwi Sim it is unclear why the card is not fully working and could be related to network issues or it could be related to What network access Kiwi Sim has. I simply don’t know. In any event, Kiwisim customer support has been responsive, and I would likely try the product again given that it is a better deal than some of the other card, but like all of this tech, you need to make sure that it works for your situation.
