Fantastic leggings and price!
LOVE THESE! First if you have never worn a "punjabi" style pant with the long tunic then this might be a little different for you. The legs are really long so they bunch at the bottom. But these are very much leggings. They have a yoke around the hips. It doesn't do much for me, but others might like it. Some people in the reviews mention a drawstring, but mine do not have one. I got the Mustard color to go with a tunic I had made while in India. I have included pics. I am 194lbs and 5'8". I typically wear a size 14 or sometimes 12. It just depends on the clothing style. I just got these so I haven't washed them or dried them yet. If anything odd happens I'll update the review. But these are roomie for sure. They are very snug around the ankle, but my ankles aren't very wide. The proper way to wear these is start the bunching just under the calf muscle and then scrunch them all the way to the ankle. I got the one size fits all. I almost got the Plus size ones, but glad I didn't. These are plenty big enough.

Excellent pure cotton churidar
These are your standard cotton knit churidar, very well made & being of 100% cotton are very comfortable - a soft, smooth & not too thick churidar, slightly loose in the thigh Upon looking at reviews, there is obviously some lack of knowledge amoung non-Indian reviewers who don't know what churidar are - Churidar are a type of salwar (2-legged garment worn around the waist), which is an article of clothing designed to be worn underneath a long kurta, an Indian type of tunic having slits on the side that extend to mid-thigh, and which can be knee-length (this short length is called a kurti, is worn primarily by unmarried young women), or can be mid-to-lower calf length (this longer length is called a kurta) The primary garment for women in Pakistan & Punjab State (India) is to wear salwar & kurta Salwar are akin to pantyhose or tights, in that only the lower portion of the garment is seen - most salwar are very loose-fitting round the hip & thigh to facilitate ease of movement, sitting cross-legged on the floor, & for keeping legs more comfortably cool than skin-tight leggings Churidar are a knit type of narrow-leg salwar, relatively opaque, close-fitting in the lower leg, looser-fitting the upper -however the newer fashions of churidar are closer-fitting in the upper leg than the older fashions were, altho they may or may not be as tight-fitting as American leggings, there is no one standard & you'll find variance from manufacture to manufacture Churidar are made extra-long in the leg, to bunch up attractively around the ankle, this is the characteristic style of churidar and is another big difference between churidar and American leggings The idea of wearing a T-shirt or any other type of upper body garment with a pair of leggings does not exist in India & Pakistan, even for yoga classes - churidar are not designed to be visible above the calf from the front and visible from mid-thigh on the side (where the slits are), are designed to be worn with kurta, never with T-shirts, sweaters, or exercise wear SIZING - Churidar are NOT fabricated for plus-size women - plus-size churidar do exist, I don't know if Amazon sells them Amazon has a number of Indian sellers now (they didn't use to until recently), selling fashions for the millions of India diaspora who want to wear their customary clothing - if you want to buy Indian wear, it's helpful to know how these articles of clothing are meant to be worn

Pleasantly surprised
5'6, 140lbs., muscular legs. These fit like leggings with some scrunch at the bottom as expected. I found the body perfectly sized for me. Hips comfortable, waistband not too small or loose. The colors I ordered (maroon, dark red, tomato red, brown) were as depicted. I needed a quick pair to go with a kurti also purchased from Ladyline, and these were satisfactory. *I generally sew my own salwar suits, and have pretty high expectations. Thanks for coming through with a nice quality, quickly shipped set Ladyline!

Poor quality
The fabric is very thin and flimsy. Had a hole in it already. The bottom is extremely narrow so if you have any muscle at all your legs won't fit into them.

Excellent product!
I'm a tall, thick woman - and I'm delighted to report that these Churidar Leggings fit perfectly. In fact, the fit is better than I expected and the quality of these leggings are just great. They're constructed with a yoke (the plus size, at least; maybe not the standard size) so anyone intending to tuck anything into the waist may or may not be ok with that feature. Despite my long legs (65" inseam US pants) & heftiness these leggings still had that attractive bunching at the ankle. I ordered 1 first, but the color was wrong so I returned it and ordered 3. Every one seemed to be of the same, good quality fabric, the same construction, and the same size. Yay! One thing: I've not washed them yet but don't anticipate difficulty. I always use a low water temp & a net bag in the wash and don't toss things like this in the dryer. Preserves the fabric surface finish & life of the garment as well as reduces/eliminates shrinking.

Not for big thighs.
Rather sheer. You should wear a long top to cover your underwear. Tightness on legs is good. Length is great. Seams stretch on the thighs. They won’t last long. They need to be larger. They are somewhat comfortable. The blue ones I purchased are just the opposite. They are for larger thighs. They sag on mine. I live the comfort. They were easier to get on. If you are tall, you will love them.
