COLD THERAPY Are you tired of aches and pains in your joints? Is muscle inflammation making even the most simple tasks unbearable? If so, a TheraBeads ice pack may be exactly what you need for fast, soothing relief. Our standard ice pack freezes in a couple of hours, providing you with quick and easy access to cold therapy. Cold therapy reduces blood flow to the affected area and reduces pain caused by inflammation and swelling, especially around joints and tendons. It can also temporarily reduce nerve activity, which can help relieve pain as well. HEAT THERAPY The TheraBeads gel pad also doubles as a warm compress for heat therapy. Warm up our pad in the microwave for a few seconds to start experiencing relief. Heat therapy improves circulation and blood flow to the affected area and can soothe discomfort and pain and increase muscle flexibility. EASY-TO-USE The dual-action TheraBeads pad offers heat and cold therapy all in one. Toss our pad in the freezer for two hours or microwave for a few seconds to start experiencing relief. With this pad, you won’t have to buy different products for heating and cooling therapy! REUSABLE Constantly buying disposable heating or cooling pads can be quite costly. That’s why we created the TheraBeads gel hot and cold compress to be used over and over. Designed with an extremely resistant, non-toxic outer layer, our compress will stand up to extreme temperatures and last for many uses. FLEXIBLE DESIGN Unlike other cold compresses and heating pads, TheraBeads doesn’t believe in “one size fits all.” That’s why our standard packs are created with a comfortable and flexible design that contours to your unique shape. This allows for the pad to lay flush against the affected area for maximum therapeutic comfort. - Size: 8.9 inches by 3 inches - Available in eye mask, large wrap and standard square pack

Relaxing for sore tired eyes and headaches
Works great to relax sore, tired eyes and really helps when you have a headache! Only takes 12 seconds to heat in the microwave. Love this mask!!

Good while it lasts
The main problem with this product is that it doesn’t stay warm long enough. But that is a problem with all of these masks that I have tried so far. Another problem is that the plastic gets a bit hard after significant use. That’s not much of an issue, though, since the product is still useable.

great for itchy allergy eyes
I bought this for my son to use on his eyes that itch severely from pollen allergies. Because the beads are a soft gel, it is very comfortable to use. It has been great for helping him get through allergy season.

Therabeads Hot Cold Gel Eye Mask
When I have a headache, I have a rice bag I either heat up or freeze based on my need at that moment. It usually helps, so I thought I would try the Therabeads Hot Cold Gel Eye Mask. The Therabeads eye mask is okay. When I have a headache, I’m very sensitive to touch, so the plastic seam of the mask bugged the bridge of my nose. The mask stayed cold for approximately 30 minutes; I dozed in the middle of testing so I can’t be entirely certain. But I did like that the mask didn’t get wet or slimy feeling as it cooled. And of course, the moveable beads inside the mask molded to my face, so it is comfortable to wear. The elastic strap to hold the mask onto the head seems very flimsy. I’ve seen junky masks with better straps than this one. There’s no way to adjust the length of the strap.I’ve used other Therabeads packs in the past, and over time, they all break and start leaking. I’ll update this review if/when that happens with this eye mask.

Wonderfully warm eye mask
This review is for the EYE MASK with the gel beads. Over the years I've gone through a lot of these but this is the first time I can say 'this one works.'For one thing, I like that the instructions are printed immediately on the product itself. With my other ones the instructions are long gone and I'm not sure how long to put it in the microwave, the freezer, etc.For another thing, the heat lasts a remarkably long time! I put it in the microwave for 12 seconds, and I can see that the liquid that the beads were floating in got a little foamy, so I was concerned that I left it in for too long. Then, the eye mask had hot spots and cold spots, the temperature wasn't consistent. It was natural to play with it a little bit by squishing it around, and in a few seconds the whole thing was at one nice, warm temperature. The one thing I didn't like about it was the smell. It was kind of strong -- the only way I can describe it is that it smelled like a swimming pool. Not bleachy or clorine-y but somehow like a pool. But the heat lasted for a good 15 minutes, which really surprised me. However, instead of taking it off after 20 minutes (as the instructions state) I pushed it up on my forehead and just kept it on. After I while I got a headache so I'm not sure if it was from the smell or the heat. Lesson learned.
