For Hubby's Tub-shower
My husband says the KOHLER K-72421-CP Awaken B110 Multifunction HandShower works GREAT! It was a gift I had him pick out for himself because he is very fussy when it comes to shower heads. And he did a ton of research first. So this turned out to be perfect for him because it is exactly what he was looking for. He chose the polished chrome to match the rest of the fixtures.

What happened to metal
Why so much plastic? The hose that came with broke the second I tried to screw it on. Ended up buying a COMPLETELY made of metal hose to attach to their plastic part

Perfect in every way
Yes, this is not solid metal. If it were, one would get tired holding it! I think it is well made and I like the simplicity of it. I was looking for a hand held shower head that was not a massager and with a setting strong enough it rinse my thick hair quickly. This one is perfect! I ordered this with the 72" hose and it is wonderful to use to shampoo and rinse my granddaughter's hair.
