Ok, now the message may be harsh, but unfortunately it was needed. We have discovered that there is a new generation that does not understand the word “soliciting”. It’s actually unbelievable. Over the last year, we have been bombarded by swaths of young people going door to door attempting to sell us everything from solar panels to A/C’s, to asking to buy our house. Every single time, (even though we had a “tasteful” “NO SOLICITING” sign on our door), they would pound on the door or ring the bell. And each time my two little dogs would go nutso, and I would yell through the window “read the sign, please!” I suffer from a chronic, debilitating neurological disease. Noise, intrusion, disturbing my rest? No bueno. I finally asked one of these young people if they knew what the word “soliciting” meant. Nope. So, drastic measures have been put in place. Hahaha. You get TWO of these signs. Perfect size, easy to read and quite the clear language. They are sturdy and were easy to hang with simple contact strips. Since “they” were also invading my carport door, I was able to put the second one there. Since we have had them, we have gone from about 24 fliers and door hangers, 5 religious persuasions, up to 3 solicitations a day and a partridge in a pear tree WEEKLY to NONE. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. Look, I’m no Scrooge and these boys are trying to hustle up a living, I get it. But, people are entitled to privacy and respect as well. We don’t live in the “may I borrow a cup of sugar” days anymore, so? I’m just keeping up with the times, my friends. So far, the only comment came from a zealot Christian neighbor (with whom I am friendly) who attempted to lecture me about being “un neighborly” when he saw the sign. He didn’t get much out. I said: “You are always welcome, but no religious persuasions, please”Call me a “Karen”, call me a “Boomer”, gaslight me all you want kids, believe me, I can take it. But, I just can’t with your at my door anymore. Best purchase for the gift of peace that I’ve ever made.Having similar issues? Just GET THESE!

My husband and I bought this to keep away solar panel salespeople haha. They were driving us crazy. I have yet to see one since! I really like the quality and the look! I didn’t want to screw it into my siding and it just so happen to fit perfectly right under my doorbell. It also came with two signs! We’ve had about two crazy wind & rain storms since I purchased the sign and it hasn’t moved. Great buy! I’d definitely recommend.

Sign is sturdy, easy to read, words are large enough to see from sidewalk and easy to read. Secured to security door with heavy duty double back tape.

I finally got to put up my signs and noticed the plastic coating was coming off the face of them.I've been waiting probably 6 months to get my new deck put in to attach them to and they have been moved around a lot, being stored in different areas while waiting. So I'll caulk it up to maybe some damage on my part too. But they were still plastic sealed, so who knows. I hung them anyway.

This sign is tasteful and professional in design. Very simple and gets the point across. Product is sturdy and easy to read. I cannot attest to it being weatherproof, as I display it on the inside of my window. No sun damage, though! Nice that it comes in a 2 pack! I shared the other with my parents.

The sign works. I should have bought this a long time ago. They don't even knock anymore.

These signs are made of sturdy tin, and even though they are not big signs, they are fairly visible. No unwanted disruptions anymore, so they seem to be effective.

This is a nice sturdy sign and can easily be seen from the walkway. I’ve watched solicitor after solicitor just turn around and walk away because this sign says it all! It comes with little holes at each of the sign’s 4 corners, so I took 4 twist ties and secured it to my front screen door. Woo hoo! No more solicitors!! Very very happy with my purchase and with the quality of the sign itself.
