I’m really happy with the AFEXOA Sunrise Alarm Clock! The gradual light simulation is a great feature, but for me, the light alone doesn’t wake me up. I still rely on the customizable soft sounds like birds chirping or a beeping alarm, which works perfectly. The volume goes loud enough for heavy sleepers, and the snooze button with 9 extra minutes is a nice bonus. The RGB lighting with 10 brightness levels is great for setting a relaxing mood or using as a nightlight. Even though only half of the alarm is light, it doesn't compromise the brightness at all—it still fills the room nicely. I also love the sleep timer and adjustable display brightness, which make it perfect for both bedtime and mornings. I think the design and look are much more stylish than other brands that are just lights. It’s easy to use and has really improved my mornings.

The alarm clock simulates a sunrise which i love to wake up to - more natural and gentle and can be set for the amount of minutes you need to wake. In addition, The clock has various alarms which you can choose according to your needs. I prefer the birds chirping - again more natural and appealing. It is small enough so it doesn't take up a lot of space but still performs great! There are 3 levels of brightness on the time display, which is very nice - actually 4 as one is no light. I felt it was easy to set up using the instructions. Wonderful clock! I love it!! If I could have one other option it would be: to set 2 separate alarms. However, again I am completely satisfied with this clock.

The clock is great overall. I love that there are multiple sound options for the alarm, different colors to choose from, and it is compact. My only problem with it is the clock screen that displays the time itself. It is SO bright and blue that it illuminates my bedroom with just the time all the time and shines blue light out which seems to be waking me up a lot overnight. Everything else is adjustable by volume and brightness. I kind of just wish it was either warmer or dimmer because the whole reason I got it was to get my phone/blue light out of my bedroom.

Works great easy way to wake up

I found it to be clunky to use. It got WAY too bright for me. And the alarm is annoying. But it does gradually brighten, as it says. If I had messed with the controls more, maybe it would have worked out, but I found it difficult to program.

It looks exactly as in the picture, and it seems to be made with good quality, even though it is plastic and light. While the instructions looked detailed at first, it was easy to follow along. Each button function works well. The light does gradually turn from a warm red to a brighter yellow light, and for me, it's perfect for a simulated sunrise to lead up to whenever I need to wake up. I see that others' reviews share that the alarm sound is too loud, but you can adjust the sound, as it's quite pleasant on a quieter level. My mornings are a lot easier waking up with this, especially on dark winter days, as I dread waking up in the dark. I wouldn't turn on the night light too long as it gets pretty warm, and I'm not sure how good that is for the product. I don't know if gifting it to someone is making too much of a point, but it was a pretty good gift to myself.

I was excited to get this clock, when I had searched high and low for a replacement bulb that recently blew (one I've had for over 20 years) but could not find one. I decided it was a good enough reason to buy a new one. However, I needed it soon. I was taking a chance on Amazon, and should have read more of the worst reviews. I have had this for about a week, and from the first day it has had a mind of its own. This clock has been useless. It has repeatedly changed its time. The first picture is the last morning (today) before I pack it up and return it. The second is the first day I woke up to it... The third, just another random day it changed time to the wee-morning hours in the middle of the day. It is barely 9 am, and it's suddenly reading 3 am? The clock was correct when I went to sleep. Just like the first day I woke up (to it not working) and freaked out because it said 3!). Very disorienting and experience has been frustrating. The alarm has only gone off once all week when. When it is set, it typically stays set (as one reviewer added, which was a great feature to look forward to every day not having to reset it) however, this morning it has unset itself. Probably explains why it rarely went off to wake me. It has not woken me up but one time. I do not recommend this clock. (A few other little things I noticed: a couple of the buttons look like they could fall off at any time, instructions indicate that there's more dimmer settings than there actually are).

Bought this wake up light Sunrise Alarm clock for my teenagers who have to get up when it’s still dark outside. It’s has been awesome. The sound of the alarm is nice and peaceful not an annoying blaring alarm sound. The color of the light is a warm white which I love and gradually gets brighter to mimic the sun. It’s light weight and great for next to the bed. Would definitely buy again.
