PURE MERINO WOOL! What's not to like?
I love this pure merino wool yarn for my prettiest shawl crochet patterns. It works up so beautifully, is soft, lofty, and now comes in more colors than ever. The price is great considering this is 100% merino wool; most companies charge an arm and a leg for merino yarn. Red Heart makes consistently good products and though I do not use their usual Red Heart acrylic worsted very often, this Chic Sheep merino yarn is an EXCELLENT product. Easy and beautiful to work with -- no knots, doesn't ravel.

UPDATED- FOUND gray Awesome Yarn
Orders it says I recieved the gray and the purple colored chic sherp Marly Bird yarn. I only recieved the purple one. I did not recieve the gray color yet.Update: Yarn found, behind side gate. LOVE LOVE MOVE this yarn. nice and soft luxurious. It really is as nice as s.w.m. that can Upwords of 25.00 over 100 grams. Highly recommended. It seems to be about a thicknesz 3 Worcested. Not quite a # four. But bouncy skin soft, grest stitch defination. Easy to work with. Great colors.

Beautiful and Easy to work with!
The color is vibrant and the material is very soft. It’s super nice to work with, and unlike a lot of other yarns, I don’t find it splitting as I work through stitches.

Love it!!!!! Good bus.
It feels smooth and easy to crochet. Needle goes through stitch in. Dry smooth manner. It also has a nice drape when project is complete. I’ll use it again. Same item sold in Joanne’s ,s but Joanne’s never has enough of the same color. Also it is like a nickel cheaper than Joanne’s ,s . I’ll buy again from Amazon. Colors are as presented on Internet. Good buy.

The yarn is soft and perfect for many projects
The yarn is soft and perfect for many projects. I found, however, that in two of the four skeins that I purchased that the yarn was joined (knotted) in several spots.

Super soft, nice and stretchy
This is a 100% merino wool yarn that has the softness and elasticity of your favorite acrylic. There are occasional bits of straw in the yarn, but they are few and easily picked out. The color is nice and bright. It was very easy to work with, didn't split, and was nice on the hands.

Soft, squishy and very easy to work with. Bold, bright colors that go well together in any variety. Yes, it’s on the upper end of what I like to (can) spend usually on yarn, but it’s well worth saving up for.

Soft, stunning, affordable
Beautiful soft yarn. No knots whatsoever and worked up beautifully. You'll want to make sure your hook doesn't have a sharp tip or it'll snag while you work. The color is stunning. I will purchase this yarn time and time again.

Easy to work with, quality wool with a lovely softness. Holds stitches well and highlights intricate patterns.Colours are gorgeous and work well togetherMy favourite yarn by far!! Looks so great that the copy of my winter hat I'm making for a friend looks better than my original made with a different wool.... going to have to remake another one from this wool for myself!! Absolutely love this wool!
