Samsung HWQ600F 3.1.2 Channel Q Series Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer

So first impressions. It was shipped and arrived quickly. But when it arrived there was a giant hole in the side of the box. Literally looked like someone put their foot through it. Thankfully there wasn’t anything missing and the unit still seems to work fine. There was minor scuffing on the edge of the subwoofer. But it’s not noticeable where it sits. The only concern I had was that if there was damage I couldn’t see. I reached out to the seller. They got back to me quickly and they offered a refund. But I told them I’m good with it as long as it keeps working. So far after over a month I haven’t had any issues. Samsungs always good when it comes to their products. If I do have issues I’m confident that if I do end up having issues in the future that if there is an issue in the future that Amazon won’t correct that they’ll get me taken care off. I did have one other situation with connection to my Samsung rear speakers. They connect through BT like the sub and the user’s manual says you can run more than one BT device at the same time with this model. On Samsung’s site it’s showing they’re compatible with this model. But there’s some variants to these rear speakers. I’m also finding others saying they had similar issue and I think it may have something to do with the multiple versions of this speaker set being solid under the same model number. I contacted Samsung, just waiting on a response and solution. Other than all that the bass is rich and the directional simulated surround sound from the sound bar is scary good! I literally go up to look what fell in the other room and it was the sound bar throwing sound around me. It got my wife too. She thought someone was on our porch while watching a movie and now really hates watching horror movies with me! 😆 That’s in a room that’s 20’ x 15’. So that’s pretty impressive for a few small speakers. The biggest improvement over my previous Samsung surround bar setup that was a 5.1 Dolby. Is that I can actually hear the voices!!! That was the reason I had to get the rear speakers with my first system. The voices come through on this model crystal clear and that even with heavy bass and action sequences blowing thing up in the background! It also comes with mounting hardware for the sound bar too which was an awesome surprise! So if you’re looking for a new setup I can definitely recommend this model and this seller.

Hooked up easily and sounds great. Haven't gotten near 50 percent and still so loud.

Easy to hook up… GREAT sound. I love the fact that since we bought a Samsung TV … the SAMSUNG sound bar hooks up with the TV remote. I love reducing remotes! Only issue , until we figured it out, was you need to watch the right side of the soundbar to know the bar was working… it roll a redmessage. Not a big deal but since I ordered a refurbished bar, I wasn’t totally sure it was on! That’s my fault. The refurbished bar sounds great❣️

I have an earlier (2024) version of this, and liked it so much that I ordered this one for another TV. Works best with Samsung TVs, to take advantage of Samsung' "Q-Symphony" function, which outputs audio from both the TV and the soundbar, but it'll work with any newer TV. (Use a high-quality HDMI cable (supplied) and the "eARC" output of your TV for best quality audio.) Very easy to set up. Great sound, customizable to your listening preferences. Strong subwoofer bass response. You can add rear speakers as well, for true surround sound. This is a high-quality soundbar. Until you try it, your won't know what they're missing.

I'm going to have to return this. Despite days of troubleshooting, the HDMI passthrough does NOT work when set to 4K 60hz, which makes it pretty pointless going into 2026. The input flickers and goes out. The only solution is to change your video settings to either 1080p or 4k 30hz. I've eliminated all other possibilities (cables, TV settings, Fire Cube settings, etc.) My best guess is the lack of Dolby Vision support. Essentially Samsung is making sure this series only works with their protocol. The problem is most modern devices freely use Dolby Vision, and so Samsung's chip bottlenecks the process. Even just navigating menus and watching YouTube causes the input to crash. If I bypass the soundbar and plug directly into the TV I have zero issues. This soundbar series seems to be a relic of the war between Samsung's HDR10 and Dolby Vision and not to be trusted.

I really do love this soundbar. The bass is outstanding. Would recommend to anyone looking for great sound & quality.

This sound bar is excellent. It's 10x better than the factory paper speakers in a TV and the bass on the subwoofer works well. No issues with connectivity other than occasionally I need to unplug the sound bar to get it to work with the TV.
