Works great with an Outback FLEXmax 60/80 charge controller
I purchased the Zephyr Power Vent for a 24V off-grid solar battery bank, which consists of eight flooded deep cycle batteries. Setting my Outback FLEXmax 80 aux relay to "Vent Fan" and an "ON" charge voltage of 27 volts, the power vent works great!NOTE: if you are buying a Zephyr power vent fan for an Outback FLEXmax charge controller, make sure to purchase the 12V fan. The FLEXmax output only 12VDC to the fan irrespective of the battery bank voltage.

Smooth, quiet and powerful.
Quiet operation. Moves plenty of air.The flapper inside was rendered inoperable due to mounting upside down to direct ducting downwards. Works well so far though.

Didn’t last long
I had one of these specific vents added to my battery boxes for my solar, it didn’t last twelve months.
