Cleaning the roller is a nuisance

I am a huge Kirby fan so my bias tends toward favorable. This wax applicator is the exception. They took the simple job of applying wax and made it 10x's more involved than it had to be with sub-par results. The primary reason I upgraded my Sentria to the Avalir was to have the hard floor cleaning system and especially the miracle shine kit so I could have buffed shiny floors. Hooking it up the shampoo system is more cumbersome with the elbow than the Sentria with the flexible hose. I'm not impressed with the hard floor cleaning attachment and even less with this. Any convenience it may offer is stripped away when you have to clean the unit. You are basically smoothing transparent glue over your floor...this is used to spread only...no buffing...in fact, you will get worse results if you run over the same spot more than once. I don't like the spray bottle applicator...you are bound to have sticky over-spray where you don't want it (think furniture legs, rugs, trim). Be prepared to clean glue off the applicator, inside the power nozzle (very time consuming) and bottom of vacuum. Way easier to use a sponge mop and toss it when done. Normally I equate Kirby to quality...this is gimmicky.
