It works great with my air purifier.

Overall, the filters work, but Amazon needs to do better... The flex driver that dropped this off was smoking pot in their vehicle as the smell was extremely overwhelming when I opened the package. Thankfully everything was individually wrapped but it's still bothersome when most of my flex packages come smelling extremely strongly of marijuana.

that after a month when you turn on the air cleaner it makes the area smell foul for a few minutes and then it does away. Maybe it's my environment but the OEM filter that was in there did not do this. I use them for a month and toss them. They work well but something is a bit off here. Maybe something is growing in the media over the month? Hard to say but they do work well.

I normally bought my filters from Target but they were expensive (for just a single pack) and until recently I stopped being able to find them as if they stopped selling them. Then I found these and I think I won't go back, they fit perfectly in my unit, them being a 4 packs is a big sell for me too. They come with 4 carbon filters too to help reduce odors, depending on your model you'll find whether or not it is necessary

Cleaning the air

I am happy with this product. It fit perfectly and seems to work as it should. We live in Arizona, so lets see how it does with the fine silty sand that gets on everything. We only use it in the bedroom and have only used it for a few days so far, but I am sure it will work as advertised.

They work but they are a bit small. I try to use them the best way I can.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the white plastic bag of the six I had purchased that was the minimum number that I could order from from Amazon -- although I found out later that a smaller number could be purchased from them) that the filter did not look in any way like the ones I had been buying elsewhere in the past. Then, when I went to install the unit it appeared to be just a fraction of an inch larger and had some protrusions in places that appeared to be different from where they should have been been, These filters obviously were not originally designed for the machine I have.My first instinct was to return them, but that would involve repackaging them, taking them to the Post Office, paying for postage, writing a note why I was returning them, etc. etc; So let's forget about that and USE FORCE on these buggers to make them fit into my machine one way or the other without breaking my air cleaner. Eventually, after some frustration (upside down, inside out, front to back etc. etc,) I SIMPLY SLAMMED ONE into the machine, turned it on and it appearsed to work, I just opened up the cover of the machine, as I write this "review" and found that the filters appear to be filtering something(s) out of the air, since the new originally white filters are now a formidable dark grey and well on their way to the evil looking black that will announce it's final demise.Whether or not I am able to remove the filter from the machine without the use of a chisel or a claw hammer remains to be seen.The ottom line is simply that before Amazon permits one of the sellers you have who claims in their advertisements and details of replacement items to use in various models of machines they are selling and note in a list of some MORE THAN A DOZEN PLUS + "model numbers" (that appear in their item description of what I purchased -- I checked first) ) you are sure that what your are selling their CUSTOMERS (who are now YOUR customers) of consumerable things that are supposed to fit into the model numbers of the things they have. Or instruct your vendors who are listing consumer items for their machines to place notes in their descriptions that "there is no guarantee that what they are selling will operate without any problems" or something to effect.

These are "replacements" for the for the AER1 filters and not the actual name brand filters. I didn't catch this before I ordered it, or I might have reconsidered. I looked the manufacturer up and they make coffee filters and other paper products so it seems okay, but I would have liked to seen it clearly stated that these are after-market or third party filters as the color and design is very close to the original (but not the original). Decent price. Using one and it seems fine.

I don't really get the black piece. It made it really hard to close my hatch on my purifier, but once I finally got it it seems to work now. Not sure if it's really doing anything extra.

The price for 2 is cheaper than 1 in Walmart.
