Parts are incorrect.
It's definitely cheap. The hardware they provide isn't great. The last steps for the crossbars are machine threaded, and need to be screw threaded. Had to go to the hardware store and get new screws. Annoying. They don't list what parts or pieces are what. Overall, not a great experience.

Just ok. Not load worthy.
This rack is just ok. But, as they say, you get what you pay for. If you’re just wanting a rack to dress up your naked FJ roof, then this will do, but I personally wouldn’t trust it to carry any type of load. It’s made cheaply and it fits on the roof, but not perfectly. Also, when you get your rack, make sure you have all the appropriate rubber feet that go between the towers and the roof. Mine was missing one of these for one of the rear towers…sort of. They actually sent 2 of the passenger side rear rubber gaskets but not one for driver side rear. So, essentially I had 2 right shoes. When I contacted them about a replacement they weren’t able to proved one but gave me some money back on my rack. But, I had to cut the other gasket to make it fit. It’s not great, but it’ll do for now until I can afford a more solid rack. If you can afford it, I’d go another direction.

Read my review for better installation instructions.
It’s somewhat tough to install. Instructions are 4 pictures and not very clear. As a suggestion, put together the surrounding rails and the feet first. Mount to the top from the rear to front. After that install the cross bars. You will have a much easier install. When starting the back feet in the holes on the roof, you need to remove screws from one side of the lower and upper tubes where they screw into the plastic joint. Install the feet loosely to the roof then pull the front out away from the side of the vehicle to reinstall the screws. After that install the feet to the middle then the front. You will have to pull the rack forward and twist the feet a little to get the holes to line up. After all the screws are in place for the feet to the roof, torque them all down to 160 inch pounds using a torque wrench. I recommend coating the threads with sealant like RTV before inserting then into the roof. After install everything looks good. I’m happy with this roof rack. The price can’t be beat.
