Does what it says

I ordered this for my mum's dog. He was quite old at 14 and had stopped looking after his own self. His ears were rather bad. I saw this and thought we should try it.When it arrived I read how to use it and found it quite simple. It did clean them but the build up was quite bad. I had planned to try it again over the next few weeks but unfortunately we lost him.It's worth buying to save expensive vet visits and to aid your dogs health too!

I have used this product before and it works,my dog has not had any shaking of the head,I clean his ears everyday,it is easy to use and it smells nice too,he now rests comfortable, no itching,good price too.

On first look this appears to be well made but I am concerned that the box and bottle state only to be sold via licensed vets which it has not been sold by! The lid is not child proof so please keep out of reach of young persons hence only three stars from me. Other than that if you use as instructed this has not caused any issues with our westie which constantly has ear yeast infections so is effective against this with no complications the price for 50ml is ok but compared to other brands is a bit high for 50ml use as per instructions

Great for my dogs ears

My daughter has 2 elderly Newfoundland dogs, one of whom is a bit of a slob! She loves rolling in things, going in the sea/rivers/lakes and suffers with ear problems as a result. This review is based on her feedback.I’ve used this brand of ear cleaner before and the introduction of a shorter and more rigid nozzle is good improvement. It feels much more comfortable as it’s now more difficult to insert the nozzle too far. The cleaner has quite a strong, medicated smell, which probably adds to her intense dislike of having her ears cleaned. However, she didn’t seem to hate it as much as usual and the cleaner certainly did its job.This brand isn’t very competitively priced at £9.99 for 50mls; my usual brand, which is well known and vet recommended, costs £14.82 for 100mls. Obviously, bigger dogs mean bigger ears and extra ear cleaner so 50mls won’t last long in my house. The information on the box is not very helpful due to Chinese English. There are a few odd phrases, such as ‘acidify the ear canal’ and ‘…of heal thy ears.’ The box also states that the product is only available through licensed veterinarians, which is incorrect.Despite the price and muddled information, for which I’ve deducted a *, I would recommend this product.

It used to be a vet trip with our dog when ear problems and ended with a prescription ear drop. We've been using this instead whenever any signs of ear trouble and it works really well, haven't needed a vet trip so saving money on that and the prescription itself.
