Good but flawed ...
I feel like the way this product was constructed, and the workings were all half-a$$ed. So I believe I received a used product because the kettle was freely roaming around in the box with no protective plastic layer on the LCD screen, and the plastic handle had some scuff marks and finger prints on it. Yes, the overall look is nice, but the bulky plastic handle really cheapens it. Especially the one I received, because of the scuff marks. I had to use it a few times to really understand it, since the manual is of little to no use. So the top two buttons are to set the water temperature before (or even after) you press the ON button. Left for lowering the temp, and right for raising time temp. -- I ordered this product because of this feature, mostly, but It's not perfect. So if I want my water to be 125ยบF, I have to set the temperature lower than that. I tried 110ยบ but it still goes up to over 150ยบ. So not perfect, but I prefer to have it stop at 150 than let it keep going to boiling (which happens if you don't set a temperature). The lower right button is the ON/OFF button, but the lower left button? ... is that button really just there to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit? I think it's a waste to have a WHOLE button for just that. Unless I missed something, and it's for something else as well. Usually on other appliances, you just press the ON/OFF button 3-5 seconds to switch.

Fast and efficient !
I remember seeing a YouTube video, about this kettle, that claimed to heat water, milk, or coffee ! The owner's pamphlet strictly says to use only water, which is probably best to ensure easy cleaning. I like the features that allows you to select the water temperature and to keep the unused portion of the water, at the desired temperature for about an hour! Also the temperature of the water is displayed as it's heated, to your selected temperature, or just push the on/off button to boil the water, if you choose! The four LED controls are located at the top of the handle, which keeps everything fairly simple and easy to use. The user pamphlet was somewhat vague in it's instructions, as there were no diagrams or illustrations to identify each control button. Symbols on the control panel helped to a degree, but didn't explain what some symbols represented, such as the temperature hold feature. This kettle was a little "pricey", but an Amazon gift card, I received, brought the price down to under $20!

Overpriced junk
This thing sucks so bad I don't even know where to begin. You couldn't give me another one of these.

This kettle works but there are some issues.
Pros: It heats water and maintains a specific temperature. The handle is solid and feels secure. It pours well. One liter boils in about 5.5 minutes. Cons: First, the English instructions are horrible. I spent a lot of time trying to decipher them and figuring out, by trial and error, how this kettle works. The base is warped and doesnโt sit solidly on the counter. It is designed so that the power cord can be wrapped underneath it. The trouble is the cord is too stiff to make this very practical. When the kettle is on the base it rocks. This is in addition to the base rocking on the counter. Also, sometimes you have to fiddle with the kettle to get it to drop onto the receiver. These are not huge issues but they make this kettle seem cheap.

Love the gooseneck just for looks; controls overly complicated
There is a lot to like about this electric kettle, but the controls are my least favorite part. I understand part of them, and part of them I don't. The very first thing I need to know with a new appliance is how to turn it on, and how to make sure it is turned off, and I don't want to have to pull the plug out of the outlet to make sure it is off. I am also not interested in trusting a boil dry, safety shut off on an appliance that heats. I don't find the controls to be very intuitive, and the instruction manual is not so easy to understand. I did manage to shift the temp from C to F, but there was no display to tell me it was then in F mode. I heated up more water to 212 to find that out. So I took off a star for all of this, trying to cut the manufacturer some slack at the same time, because I do need to spend more time with the controls. What do these controls remind me of? Appliances from many, many years ago, which all had their esoteric button routines that required the user to have the instruction book in hand in order to reset the time, or get them to run certain functions. I thought electronics were well beyond this now. I do have a stainless steel electric kettle I bought many years ago from amazon. It still looks great and is heating water as always with just the flick of a single switch. But when it comes to tea, I don't really have a convenient way to measure the temperature of the water, and I thought this kettle would help out making sure the various teas were steeped at their best temperatures. I made my first cup of oolong tea today at the right temp and steep time, and it was just wonderful. As a result, I am motivated to figure out the buttons on the gooseneck kettle. Anything else about the kettle is a nonissue for me. I will probably place the gooseneck kettle in a more prominent spot on the kitchen counter just because the spout looks so delicate and graceful. I don't need the pour over spout for making coffee; I just like looking at it for the artistic merit.
