A truly imperative tool!!
I used this while constructing a boat shelter and an RV shelter, both roofed and sided with corrugated steel roofing panels. It would still not be done had I not purchased this easy to use tool. It takes a very few minutes to figure out just how to use it and I'd recommend a few practice cuts, but once you get the hang of it, it goes very quickly through the steel panels and it also cuts through polycarbonate panels like a hot knife through butter. This works just great!!

Great shears
These shears work extremely well. Very maneuverable and easy to use. Very sharp and cut steel siding and roofing safely. Fit my Dewalt drill with ease.

A Good Tool But Requires Practice
This is a very good tool, however when using it on thicker metals it is a bit tricky and a little more challenging than in the video.I used it on 26ga roofing panels and found that I could get a cleaner cut if I made the cut twice. The first cut to separate the desired piece leaving a quarter to a half an inch of material that is then trimmed off.The cutter should be positioned so the scrap is on the right side and bends down and out of the way as the cut is made, if the tool hangs up it has a tendency to mar the material on the right which is the scrap and not the material on the left, leaving a cleaner cut.Had I known this initially I would have had much better results and saved a lot of time.It also helps to have a helper available to position the material and hold it as the cut is made and if the jaws do not appear to be cutting properly try tightening the adjusting screw. It will be the first thing I grab for anything but a small cut.

Very Solid and works easily
Just got this and haven't done my roofing project with it yet. Did some testing and seems great. Very thick blades and super sharp. Cuts through metal roofing material like it was paper. Easy to maneuver and quick. Seems very well built and fits on drill solidly

Works ok, but not great
I definitely couldn't get it to work on corrugated steel roofing panels like the video showed. I had trouble with it continually loosening up in the jaws so I had to tighten the blades. A nice thing about it is the allen wrench you use to tighten the jaws stores right on the unit which is great because those kinds of things tend to get lost if you can't keep it with the tool. It was easy to fit to my DeWalt 20V cordless drill and impact driver. It was kinda hard to tighten the chuck on the drill because of the clear plastic sleeve that fits around it and even harder to remove from the impact driver for the same reason. You have to pull back on the plastic sleeve while pulling the collar around the bit on the impact driver while simultaneously pulling on the shears to get them loose. After that, I just stuck with the drill.Ergonomically speaking, it makes your drill heavy and it's really hard to navigate up and down the humps in the steel - especially using a battery-operated drill. You just don't have the room to angle the back of the drill down far enough to attack the humps in the steel at the right angle to make it cut with a big 20V battery in the way. This would probably be ok for small cuts in flat steel, but it definitely doesn't work too great for cutting up and down the humps that roofing panels have. I was cutting 29 gauge steel so I was well within the limits of its cutting thickness. As far as the cut quality goes, it does cut very cleanly with very little roughness on the edge compared to a saw blade. I'm going to keep it because it will definitely come in handy for making small cutouts for pipes, etc. It just didn't work that well for my purposes of cutting multiple steel roofing panels to length even though it is touted as being for corrugated steel. I ended up just getting a steel cutting circular saw blade which was much faster and made a better cut.

Made the job way faster.
I used this to cut my garage corrugated metal roof back a few inches to install gutters. It took me I swear no time at all to go the 30ft length. Highly recommend!
