These are an amazing value, and very capable ham radios.

These are fantastic. We use them at work all of the time as wildlife biologists. They're not good for super far, but they will pick up every channel needed.

They say that this can go up to 10watts, I doubt it, I own a pair of the previous version of this, with 8watts if power, they are smaller and have better range than these. I think I'm going to return them.

For the price I really don't see how you can beat this.
