Liked the product but sent it back because it was too small

I have used many waist trainers in the past but I must say I'm definitely impressed with this one. What I really like about this is that it just goes over your stomach and you don't have to wear like an underwear. It's quite comfortable. If you're at home you can just wear it over your top. However, if you're going out and about you can wear it under your clothes and wear your clothes on top.It fits perfectly does and definitely makes a difference to the abdominal region. It is elasticated so will fit around nicely around your stomach. It gives a really nice shape when wearing dresses. This is not uncomfortable, even when worn for a long time. I will continue to use it on a daily basis and will definitely buy another one in the other colour too.Very reasonably priced at £15, highly recommended!

Does the trick and comfortable. If you are wearing something thin and tight, it will be noticeable

I would describe this as a lightweight support item. The metal bones in it dont really suit my shape. Very soft material,

Sizes quite small, gives a lot of even compression and the light boning on the sides provides posture support as well

I've given this a considered 5* review because it is very comfortable and easy to wear. While I'm not convinced any of these "waist trainers" do actually alter the waist itself, they do obviously have the potential to cinch the waist and abdomen to smooth the figure while wearing.My standard approach to testing shapewear is to wear it for a full day, including lounging on the sofa, to really test its figure-smoothing qualities, comfort and capacity to stay in place without rolling over at the top or causing "muffin top" - this exceeded all of those criteria. It was easy to put on, easy to go about daily life without dealing with poppers or discomfort, it smoothed the figure without restricting movement and I slouched on the sofa for hours and didn't really notice it.The whole thing is elastic, with 4 spiral steel bones (sides and side front), and the compression is even throughout, so nothing cuts in anywhere.The only thing is to carefully consider sizing when ordering. I have narrow hips and take a 10/12 in trousers/skirts etc, and my waist measurement fell into the XL (UK size 10/80cm-88cm waist). For my figure and the fit, I feel that a smaller size would've held me in a little more, as the control is probably medium at best (smoothing, rather than cinching) - but a smaller size would not have been an obvious choice when ordering for me, based on it being listed as an 8 equivalent.I've seen another reviewer say that it wasn't ideal for a pear shape figure, so its suitability might rather depend on your shape. The item itself isn't shaped - it's a doubled up rectangle, and the suggested waist measurement is probably also the suggested hip measurement, too (though there's obviously some margin with the elasticity), so maybe it's better for square-bodied people like me.However, it does fit and it does smooth - and if it's a little larger than ideal, it's a lot easier to take it in a little than to adjust to make it bigger!Even without a firm control, I will use this a lot.

I was amazed when trying this on as how comfortable it was. I’ve tried items with the ‘bones’ in before and they were always rigid and uncomfortable. These are so flexible though, so much so that you can pull down the item, making it roll inside out.It says hand wash only but that’s not fitting with my lifestyle, so I put it in the washing machine on a 40 degree synthetic setting. It’s come out perfect.I’m a size 16 and it’s a perfect fit. In some ways I’d want it tighter so it hugged in my tummy more, but as it is, it does effectively smooth down my bulges and pull it in a little, and it’s still so comfortable.I’m not sure the term ‘Waist Trainer’ is technically correct but it’s certainly a Tummy Trimmer!

Easy to put on and wear short term, keeping everything in nicely.Comfortable and a good price.
