I had previously been using Tea Tree as my daily shampoo and using their leave in conditioner after I shower and towel dry my hair. I liked the cooling sensation of that because I believed that it would make my head less dry and itchy but I still noticed myself scratching my head throughout the day. Since I was running low I decided to try something new and went with Kik based off the great reviews and it not being too much money per ounce. I have thick wavy hair and I find that Kik makes my hair light and fluffy but not frizzy. I still use the Tea Tree leave in conditioner because I am not out, its quick to use, and still good at styling my hair while its short. One of the things I like most about Kik is that my head no longer feels itchy throughout the day. Kik smells nice although it washes out in the shower which is not a big deal since I'm putting product in my hair after anyway. If they made a leave in conditioner like the Tea Tree one I would definitely buy it but I don't see one listed on Amazon. Although I should probably use a conditioner when I shower. I wake up last minute and am in too much of a hurry getting ready for work. if your on the face its definitely worth a try I don't think anyone would be disappointed.

My hair has been slowly receding for many years now (since I was 18 years old), to the point that I now have a noticeable widow's peak. Each time I'd get out of the shower, it was astonishing how much hair was on the bottom of the tub. To add further insult to injury, I'd often end up with dry, itchy scalp and dandruff, which was not only annoying, but embarrassing. I've tried many remedies over the years, and while some were effective, none were an effective treatment for BOTH situations. I was browsing through products on Amazon, reading reviews from previous users to see what their experiences have been. This product comes HIGHLY reviewed, so I thought I would give it a go despite its price tag. After receiving the product and going through my first use, I quickly discovered I used WAY too much of the product, discovering this shampoo is quite thick and a very little bit goes a very long way. Users only need the amount equivalent to the size of a dime to get a full, rich lather, and I immediately surmised that this product would last a lot longer than I originally thought! Suddenly, the price tag didn't seem nearly so bad! A couple of showers later, and I noticed two things: one, once I was towelled dry and stepped out of the tub, there was no longer a huge amount of hair left in the tub; second, there was absolutely no dandruff whatsoever. True to its claims, Kick seems to be resolving both of my ongoing concerns quite quickly! While only time will tell how much actual slowing of my hair loss will be experienced, it sure seems to be doing the trick at the moment. I am going to continue using for the next few months and see how things go. The pleasant scent of this shampoo (doesn't smell mediciny at all like many other dandruff treatment shampoos do) is definitely supportive and conducive to extended, continued use, so here's to hoping that I've finally found THE product to address my issues!

First off, I love the fresh clean feeling that I get with this shampoo. I have used many different brands over the years and this one wins the day. Other shampoos have always left my hair feeling like I didn't fully rinse my hair out or super dry. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and silky smooth. I have noticed a big difference in my hair in the short time ive been using it. I can't stop playing with it and it styles so much easier now. 12 years ago I became extremely frustrated with various shampoos leaving my scalp dry and itchy or my hair feeling like I needed to wash it again and I decided to just go bald. A few months ago, after 12 years of being bald, I decided to grow my hair back out and I was second guessing that decision until I found this shampoo. I naturally have oily hair and due to using harsh shampoos for oily hair it leads to a dry scalp which then I need a second shampoo to fix that and have to find the perfect rotation to keep everything balanced. This shampoo fixed that problem. Not only does it help prevent dandruff, but my scalp also itches noticeably less and my hair feels clean all day even after ive been active. No more frustrating rotation, no more discomfort, just clean and healthy hair. Also, a small amount goes a really long way. I'm so happy I found this product. I won't change brands ever again. Worth every penny.

This is the best shampoo I've used. I love the smell. I love the lather. And it makes my hair feel good. The conditioner is also really good but it is so thick you can't get it out of the bottle. I highly recommend both

If you happen to have hair loss and an oily scalp like me, this shampoo dries up your hair an promotes hair growth. Every time you use this shampoo, you can feel an ant like feeling, do not worry its normal, it is your hair follicles vibrating and accelerating the hair growth process. That's how you know it's working! In addition, you will notice that the white flaking in your scalp stops since it does dry up your scalp. It's a miracle product I keep buying once every three months; plus, it smells minty fresh.

My hair is short and I use molding clay to style it each day. The Kick Active shampoo is great for removing the clay product and leaving my hair clean and with an almost conditioned feel. Other products I used before (Crew, Paul Mitchell, etc.) left my hair feeling dry and somewhat stripped dry. The Kick Active is also helpful for one problem area- itchy scalp. I think the tea tree oil helps to reduce that problem and I anticipate with longer-term use of Kick Active will keep it under control. Will have to wait until next winter to verify completely. Otherwise I love the peppermint scent and so does my wife-- it makes the bathroom smell clean and fresh after a shower! The bottle the Kick Active comes in is a nicer sort of rubber feel so it's easy to hold onto and squeeze the bottle, but the shampoo itself is reasonably thick and I find I need to add some water to help massage it into my hair & scalp. I guess that's okay if you want to leave it on for a while to let the tea tree oil do it's thing while not having it run down into your eyes. Overall a great shampoo that I will definitely purchase again.

As a shampoo, I love this product! The lather is great, the peppermint is invigorating and it makes my hair feel soft and nourished. All great things. My issue is the packaging is crap. The last two times I have ordered this shampoo the cap has broken and clogged the opening. Doesn't effect the shampoo, but still annoying and the product deserves better.
