Great light brightness and RGB features. lightweight & looks good mounted. Battery life isn't great but it is what it is, it performs great for the size & can be used plugged in as passthrough. Overall great value for video/photography & even as a desk light for longer periods of time while plugged in.

Pretty cool little light to go on my Smallrig cage on my Hero 13. Provides ample light for any vlogging video or even close up shots at night indoors or outdoors. Multiple colors, different strobing modes, even emergency vehicle light patterns if you have any use for those effects.

Overall, I’m very happy with the SMALLRIG Vibe P108 Pro RGB video light. The brightness is excellent for such a compact unit, and the color accuracy looks great (CRI 95+ really shows). The RGB modes and built-in effects are fun and useful for content creation, streaming, and creative shots. It mounts easily on a cold shoe and feels solid and well built. The light output is smooth, adjustable, and perfect as a fill light or accent light. Battery life has also been solid for my sessions, and it’s super portable to throw in a camera bag. The only downside is the power switch can be a little finicky. Sometimes it doesn’t turn on right away and needs to be switched off and on again. It’s also kind of a hassle having to use the power switch and then spin the dial before the unit actually activates. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something SMALLRIG could improve in future versions. Despite that minor annoyance, it’s still a great little RGB light with lots of features for the price. If you want a compact, versatile lighting option, this one is definitely worth picking up.

The lights just got in and unboxed them the light, usb cable and a little keychain with the serial number. The lights look good and yes easy to use. Since I use them for macro and toy photography they are a great fit for my use. I will be ordering a few more. Can never have enough lights. SmallRig puts out some good equipment I have several lights from them as well as arm.

Well, after 5 months it is no longer responding to anything. The dial is completely unresponsive which would be ok if the light at least turned on. Sadly, it won’t. Because you have to rotate the dial to get it to work after it’s turned on. Rendering it completely useless. I’ll email smallrig about this and I’ll update if they respond or anything. Right now, I can’t recommend this light. Which is unfortunate as other Smallrig products have been very satisfactory. So , update time. After using it for a couple of months now, I have opinions. This light is still a good value, with 1 minor issue. That mount. That fragile useless mount. It broke after falling off my ottoman onto the wooden floor. From less than 3 feet into a wooden floor. It shattered. So I had to spend another $10 on the small rig dual ball mount. Because I couldn’t find a replacement part. I’d suggest just grabbing one at the same time saving you the hassle of having the light out of commission. Yet I’m still rating it at 4 stars as this little light is still my favorite tool of 2024. So I am not a professional, so bear with that. As a hairdresser, I like to take photos of my work, and this is so useful to me. With the dial I can control the warmth so the colors will show true. It also fills in perfectly to help eliminate shadows in my studio pics. And the mounting shoe is super stable with no rattling.

love that it is wireless. a bit annoying in that you have to scroll the wheel even after you turn it on. you could inadvertently leave it on and light being out and lose the charge. when its on, the light is bright and ideal for what you want to highlight, plus you can adjust it to your needs with the brightness and hue.

The light is decent for the price but the controls are not great. You have to spin the wheel to turn it on but the wheel has a lot of friction and does not spin easily. Seems like low quality control. Not a deal breaker just a little disappointing.

Très pratique pour de l'appoint d'éclairage ! Plusieurs modes d'éclairages , pleins d'intensités , deux fixations ( cold shoe et 1/4 ) le tout est pratique à l'usage 👍 Pour la durée de la batterie c'est raisonnable selon moi au vu de la taille et du prix ( environ 1h selon moi au max d'intensité ) Seul point ( pas dramatique ) un peu bizarre est pour l'allumer : il faut pousser le bouton puis tourner la molette pour allumer ( peut être une sécurité contre l'allumage accidentel ) seul le bouton aurait été suffisant .
