Seize the day with these handmade aluminum collar stays. Stamped one letter at a time in a Corsiva font and measuring 2.5 inches long by .4 inches wide, these standard sized collar stays will fit and add a classy touch to any shirt collars. The collar stays were sheared from 18 gauge aluminum, the tips sawed by hand, and the edges filed, and the aluminum surfaces burnished to silver glow. Aluminum is low maintenance and will not stain or discolor your white shirts. To darken the carpe diem, I used a non reactive pewter black patina that is water safe and stable.
