Best Hearing Amplifiers - Set of 2 - BTE Personal Sound Amplifier - Small Digital Device - for Adults Men & Women

This is a great value for your money. They really do work. Upon opening them I had a little difficulty with figuring out where the battery went. But I kept looking and prodding and got it in. They are big but I sometimes style my hair over it. I also wear glasses so the glasses with the hearing amplifier totally makes for an adjustment. When I wear them I am able to hear better. When my coworker or my husband has their music on I just take them out. Works for me!!!

I bought this pair of hearing amplifiers as a back-up pair to a set I had purchased earlier from the same company for my father. I put them aside to use if needed. I checked them out at the time I received them and they worked fine. However, when my father needed them some time later, one of them did not work at all. Unfortunately, the return time has elapsed, so I'm stuck with one amplifier that works and one that doesn't. Lesson learned: Thoroughly check out this product many times upon receipt to ensure both amplifiers work. I didn't and I wasted my money.

Bought for 95 year old woman. These units are very large. Helps not lose them but difficult to keep on an older persons ear comfortably . The plastic tube between pieces broke after a week but unit still worked. Amplifies sounds quite well

I know that these are hearing enhancers and not hearing aids, but they seem to also have a buzzing sound no matter where I set the volume.

This is a surprisingly good hearing amplifier. I have used a number of different ones over the years and this is definitely the best for two reasons: 1. Best amplification. I have tested them side by side with several others I have and this was #1 with respect to volume and clarity. 2. No squealing in my ear. If you haven't used any of these amplifiers you don't realize what a big deal this is. Even at the highest volume, where I keep mine, I am getting no squealing. Because I had a an experience where one that I liked very much was no longer available when I needed to reorder, I am ordering now another pair of this amplifier to be sure I am set for a long time. That is the best recommendation I can give a product Both the amplifiers in the set I received performed equally well.

Product helps amplify sounds immensely. Customer service is very good as my initial set had one amplifier which gave a high pitched squeal. The CS rep replied to my email quickly with a suggestion which unfortunately didn't solve the problem. I emailed a second time for a possible alternative suggestion and they sent me a new set which works better. I will mention that I wear glasses and this does make it difficult to keep them in place but I think this would be the case with any others with this type of design.

I really wanted these so I could understand what people were saying. I really wanted these to work but it enhanced the sound of my hair moving. They are really nice looking, packaged nicely, but the batteries only last about a day even when you turn them off. There are odd echoes when they're on. These might work really well and I may have gotten a really bad pair, but I wouldn't buy something like this again. I will just have to wait until I can get real hearing aids.

Yes, it definately sucks getting old, but this product helps the process. So easy to use with just an on/off switch with a dial for amplification. I have been wearing these to watch TV, so that I don't have to keep telling my family to turn it up. I have also worn them for plays and tours (which I normally struggle to hear what is going on). These are a great alternative to incredibly expensive hearing aids. I highly suggest these amplifiers. Huge bonus- there is a set of 2 in the box!!
