NEXARY Portable Jecket Holder + Gripper/Add-A-Bag and Luggage Strap

This is an adjustable "belt" to hold your jacket or sweater or whatever. The marketing aims at women, but I'm not a woman: I'm a photographer. When I go out, I want to be prepared for morning cold or afternoon showers, but when it gets hot, or dry, I want to take off my jacket. Since I'm draped in photo gear, I don't want to wear it around my waist or around my neck. This belt holds my jacket, and the ring allows me to clip it to my belt, or my photo vest, or the sling for my tripod.I can have my jacket, securely, without wearing it, and free my hands for taking photos.

I saw a similar product in a catalog of items for travelers. This one was cheaper but I'm fairly sure the quality is the same as the slightly more expensive one featured in the catalog which I won't name here. I have back problems and on the advice of my physical therapist, I brought a back support with me on the plane. If I had placed that back support inside my carry-on handbag, it would have taken too much space. So, I attached the back support to my carry-on using the strap. This made it easy for me to take the back support on and off my handbag whether I am in the plane or on a tour bus. This hook is also great for strapping on your sweater or whatever will fit securely to your handbag.

I was uncertain about buying this because the price seemed so unreasonable. But it isn't at all. The ring is very heavy duty and is an easy clip, so even people who have functional limitations for tasks with their hands will likely be able to clip and unclip this. The strap is like a thick, sturdy version of the bottom part of backpack straps. The buckle is a standard plastic buckle in a larger size, with elastic wrapped around the female end - which I thought was a very thoughtful design touch and it will prevent pinched fingers. It doesn't feel thrown together like so many items nowadays. It feels properly constructed and durable. I will be buying more of these.

The quality and durability is really lacking. I bought this for my son to put his jacket in while affixed to his backpack at school. At first it was such a lifesaver and worked GREAT...until the fabric just wore out where the strap is attached to the ring. It literally just came apart and fell off the ring while the jacket was still strapped in. We haven't even had the product one month yet, I am so disappointed! It was extremely functional, just not durable. He has attached his jacket to the strap everyday in school Mon-Fri. for approximately three weeks. I just wish it would this Jecket holder + gripper would have lasted. I have seen more expensive jacket holders out there, maybe they were more expensive because they were made with durable straps that would hold up to everyday use. I will seek out one of those and give them a try. This one proved to be a waste of my money unfortunately. The idea behind the product is great and worked really well, but this particular holder isn't durable enough or made with material that won't break down after a few weeks of use.

Purchased to attach a jacket to my purse/backpack.The strap doesn't quite shrink down enough so I have to fold the jacket a couple times to really secure it in the strap which is slightly annoying.The spring ring is absolute junk. I will replace with a different carabiner.Otherwise it seems to be good quality.

Loved this with my folding compact luggage cart. But when I accidentally left both on a plane, someone else must have loved it too and I never got it back. So I am ordering two more. Quick release rings are handy. What sets this brand apart from any other I compared is the slide over cover for the plastic buckle. That feature made me feel more secure from pinching myself or from accidental opening. They are out of black so I am ordering the same thing in brown.

Used jacket holder extensively during a recent baltic cruise, kept my hands free and my jacket secure but out of the way. Really convenient travel accessory when layering is the order of the day. Highly recommendedFollowing up: after first trip noticed that the seam at the buckle was coming apart. Had to be resewn. Had not been used or loaded other than with a light jacket. Be sure to check seams from time to time!

I used this strap to carry my jacket and/or umbrella while traveling.I attached it to my personal every day carry canvas bag and thus I was able to take my jacket/umbrella with me and keeping my hand/arms free.I recommend this item and the seller.
